Sealed, Driver-Matched Cabinets

Rockford Fosgate builds subwoofers that reward a cabinet cut to their actual parameters rather than to a nominal size. Every enclosure here is sealed and driver-matched, machined in Tullahoma, Tennessee, to the figures Rockford publishes for the specific model it names.

Ten inch through fifteen, in wedge and down-fire forms. All of them are Performance Optimized builds on a 1.5 inch double baffle, and all ship with polyfill already installed.

Sealed Rockford Fosgate enclosures from 10 to 15 inch, in wedge and down-fire, every one cut to a specific driver on a 1.5 inch double baffle.

Cut, assembled and finished in Tullahoma, Tennessee, to the parameters Rockford Fosgate publishes for each driver.

Driver parameters are taken from Rockford Fosgate published data. We build enclosures to those figures; we do not currently stock Rockford Fosgate drivers and make no claim to represent the brand.

Rockford Fosgate Enclosures by Size and Shape

Cabinets are cut per driver model rather than per nominal size. Use this for the shape of the range, then match the model named on the product page.

Shared across every row: Langboard Elite MDF cut on ShopSabre routers in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Plush black carpet. A Proline X ABS and carbon fibre composite terminal cup with stainless hardware, pre-wired in 12-gauge OFC. Construction method varies by series and is stated on each product page.

Sealed, Driver-Matched, One Build Standard

There is no series ladder to work through on this page. Every Rockford Fosgate cabinet we cut is Performance Optimized: a 1.5 inch double baffle, cut to one driver's published alignment, with the bracing that standard implies. The choice you are making is shape and size, not build quality.

That consistency is deliberate. These drivers sit in a range where the sealed alignment does the work and the cabinet just has to be right, so we build them all to the same standard rather than offering a cheaper cutout that would undercut the driver.

How to Choose

Start from your model number

Ten, twelve or fifteen inch, and which Rockford Fosgate line it belongs to. That single answer does most of the narrowing.

Pick wedge or down-fire

Wedge for a space with a seat back or sloped wall behind it. Down-fire where the floor is flat and solid and you want the boundary loading.

Check the space with trim in place

Measure the real opening rather than the drawing, and remember a down-fire box is taller than the cabinet alone once its feet are counted.

Then source the driver

We do not currently stock Rockford Fosgate subwoofers, so these cabinets are cut for a driver you already own or buy elsewhere.

Matching the Cabinet to Your Rockford

The model decides the volume

Rockford Fosgate publishes different parameters across its subwoofer lines, so two twelve inch drivers from different series want measurably different net volumes. The product page names the model each cabinet was cut for, and that is the match to work from rather than the size alone.

Then pick the shape for the space

A wedge needs its depth measured at the deepest point. A down-fire cabinet needs the feet clearance counted into total height, and a floor that is flat and solid rather than a ribbed cargo tray. Both are sealed and neither is acoustically superior; they fit differently.

Then confirm mounting depth

Worth checking first if the space is shallow. Published external dimensions and the baffle cutout are on every listing.

Every Cabinet Is Driver-Matched

There is no universal-cutout option on this page. Each enclosure is cut to the published parameters of one specific Rockford Fosgate model, on a 1.5 inch double baffle, so the net volume and the baffle are right for that driver rather than approximated for its size class.

We Cut the Box, You Source the Driver

We do not currently stock Rockford Fosgate subwoofers. These cabinets are built for a driver you already own or buy elsewhere, to the same published figures either way. Nothing about the fit depends on where the driver came from.

Wedge or Down-Fire, Ten to Fifteen Inch

Two shapes cover the range. Wedge cabinets taper on the rear panel so the baffle stays vertical and the box sits flush against a seat back or trunk wall. Down-fire cabinets aim the cone at the vehicle floor with the clearance designed in and feet that set it deliberately.

Everything is sealed and single-driver, in ten, twelve and fifteen inch. Polyfill is pre-installed on all of them, because the fill is part of how the cabinet was tuned rather than an accessory.

Rockford Fosgate Subwoofer Box Questions

Which Rockford Fosgate subwoofers do these boxes fit?

The cabinets here are cut for Rockford Fosgate subwoofers in ten, twelve and fifteen inch across their subwoofer lines. Each product page names the exact model it was designed around. Match the model number rather than just the driver size, because two Rockford twelves from different lines want different net volumes.

Do you sell Rockford Fosgate subwoofers?

Not at the moment. We build the enclosures, cut to the parameters Rockford Fosgate publishes, and you source the driver. If you already own the subwoofer, that is exactly what these cabinets are for.

Are these sealed or ported?

All sealed. A sealed alignment gives tighter, more accurate bass in a smaller cabinet and is more forgiving of imperfect placement. Every sealed enclosure we build ships with polyfill already installed.

What is the difference between the wedge and down-fire cabinets?

It is a fitment decision rather than an acoustic one. A wedge tapers on the rear panel so it sits flush against a seat back while the baffle stays vertical. A down-fire cabinet aims the cone at the floor, which makes the floor part of the acoustic load, and needs designed-in clearance underneath.

Why is every cabinet the same series?

Because these drivers deserve the double-baffle build and we would rather not offer a cheaper universal cutout that undercuts them. Every Rockford Fosgate cabinet here is Performance Optimized: a 1.5 inch double baffle cut to one driver.

Can you cut a size or shape you do not list?

Possibly. Everything is CNC-cut to order in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Contact us with the Rockford Fosgate model and the space you are working with and we will tell you whether we can build it.
