ResoNix Subwoofer Boxes and Enclosures

The only enclosures built for the ResoNix GUS. GUS-10, 12 and 15, single and dual, sealed Micro Series or dual chamber wedge.

We are the only company cutting enclosures for the ResoNix GUS. Seven cabinets covering the GUS-10, GUS-12 and GUS-15 in single and dual. Six are Micro Series stack fabricated and sealed to keep the external footprint down on a shallow mount driver. The seventh is a dual 15 wedge angled to sit against a seat back. Every dual is a dual chamber build, with a full divider so each driver gets its own sealed airspace rather than sharing one. If you have a GUS on order, getting the cabinet in the queue now means it is ready when the driver lands.

The Only Enclosures Built for the GUS

We are the only company cutting enclosures for the ResoNix GUS. Seven cabinets, covering the GUS-10, GUS-12 and GUS-15 in single and dual.

That is not a marketing position, it is just where things stand. The GUS is new, and a purpose built cabinet requires the driver's measured Thiele Small parameters and a set of routers. We have both. If you are ordering a GUS and want it in something better than a generic shallow box sized by cone diameter, this is the list.

Micro Series, Sealed

GUS-10 single at $249.99 and dual at $329.99. GUS-12 single at $299.99 and dual at $349.99. GUS-15 single at $349.99 and dual at $499.99. All stack fabricated to keep the external footprint down.

Performance Optimized Wedge, Dual 15

A dual GUS-15 wedge cabinet at $489.99 in grey trunkliner or $499.99 in plush black. It is 10 inches deep at the top and 16.5 at the bottom, so it sits tight against a rear seat back or bulkhead rather than standing square in a cargo area. That taper also keeps the baffle off parallel with the rear glass, which helps with the standing waves you get when a large flat baffle faces a large flat window.

Every Dual Is a Dual Chamber

All Proline X sealed dual enclosures use a full divider, so each driver gets its own sealed airspace rather than sharing one. That is worth understanding because it changes how the pair behaves under load.

In a shared chamber, one cone's motion changes the air pressure the other driver is working against. At moderate levels you will not notice. Under hard excursion the two start to modulate each other and the middle of the output softens. With a divider, each driver sees only its own air spring, so the pair holds its character all the way up rather than getting vague when you ask for everything.

It also means there is no cross chamber wiring to fail and no shared leak path. Where a cabinet carries a terminal cup per chamber, the two sides are electrically independent as well as acoustically.

Why Micro Series

The GUS is a shallow mount line, and a shallow driver in a full depth cabinet wastes the reason you chose it. Micro Series is our stack fabricated construction: layered CNC cut panels rather than dado joinery, with dowels between layers acting as tension reinforcement. That keeps the walls rigid at a reduced external footprint.

All four corners are radiused three inches top down, and the area behind the driver magnet is precision milled both to recover internal volume and to relieve backpressure against the voice coil. Internal volume is calculated by summing each layer's opening rather than estimated from external dimensions.

Ordering Ahead of the Drivers

ResoNix has announced GUS shipping and demand for these cabinets has moved sharply in the last few weeks. If you have a GUS on order, getting the enclosure in the queue now means it is cut and ready rather than starting a lead time after your driver lands.

Every Proline X enclosure is cut to order in Tullahoma rather than pulled from a shelf, so the queue is real. Call if you need a date before you commit.

How These Are Built

Langboard Elite MDF, CNC cut on ShopSabre routers in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Internally reinforced, prewired to Proline X ABS and carbon fiber terminal cups with stainless steel hardware, and shipped with polyfill installed.

Warranty follows the series. Micro Series enclosures carry a 2 year limited warranty on craftsmanship and materials. The Performance Optimized wedge carries 1 year.

Net volume comes from the GUS published parameters. If you want to see the sealed alignment math for yourself, our sealed box calculator will give you Qtc, fc and F3 for any volume you enter.

Frequently Asked ResoNix Enclosure Questions

Are you really the only company building for the GUS?

Yes. A purpose built enclosure needs the driver's measured parameters and the equipment to cut to them. Anything else on the market for a GUS is a generic shallow box that happens to take a 10, 12 or 15 inch cutout.

Can I order the enclosure before my GUS arrives?

Yes, and it is the sensible order of operations. Cabinets are cut to order, so starting that now means you are not waiting on a lead time after the driver lands.

Are the dual enclosures common chamber or dual chamber?

Dual chamber. Every Proline X sealed dual enclosure uses a full divider so each driver gets its own sealed airspace. Neither driver modulates the air load the other one sees, which is why the pair holds its character at high output rather than softening in the middle.

Micro Series or the wedge for a dual GUS-15?

Micro Series if external size is the constraint. It is the smaller cabinet of the two. The wedge if you have a seat back or bulkhead to sit it against and want the larger 1.425 cubic feet per driver. The wedge also has a terminal cup per chamber, so the two sides are electrically independent.

Why are the Micro Series cabinets all sealed?

The GUS is a shallow mount driver and those cabinets are built to keep the external footprint down. A ported alignment needs physical port length, which works against the reason you would choose a shallow driver. If you have the space for ported, talk to us and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth it for your install.

Do you sell ResoNix subwoofers?

No. We build the enclosures. The driver you buy from ResoNix or one of their dealers.
