Sealed, Cut to Measured Data

ResoNix publishes more usable data on its GUS subwoofers than almost any manufacturer we cut for: large-signal measured parameters rather than small-signal estimates, and a full mounting specification including the bolt pattern. That means the cabinet and the baffle can be cut to what the driver actually does rather than to an approximation.

Cut to Measured Data, Not Estimates

Most driver manufacturers publish a small-signal parameter set and leave the mounting detail vague. ResoNix publishes large-signal measurements and states the mounting hole pattern outright, which is unusual enough that only a handful of the drivers in our database carry it at all.

For an enclosure builder that matters twice. The measured parameters give a net volume that reflects how the driver behaves under power, and the published mounting pattern means the baffle can be cut to fit exactly rather than to a generic cutout that leaves the installer drilling.

How to Choose

Start from the driver size

Ten, twelve or fifteen inch. Each is offered in single and dual, and in more than one orientation.

Let the space choose the shape

All three orientations are sealed and cut to the same driver data, so the decision is fitment rather than sound. Pick the one that suits where the box has to live.

Single or dual

A dual is not two singles joined together. Each chamber is cut tighter than the same driver gets alone, so the cabinet still fits the same space.

Then source the driver

We do not currently stock ResoNix drivers, so these cabinets are cut for a subwoofer you already own or buy elsewhere.

Size, Shape and Space

Pick the size first

Ten, twelve and fifteen inch are all covered, single and dual. Fifteen inch asks noticeably more of the cargo area, so confirm the space before committing to it.

Then the orientation the space allows

Standard front-firing needs only the opening. A wedge tapers on the rear panel and sits flush against a seat back. A down-fire cabinet aims the cone at the floor and needs its feet clearance counted into total height, plus a floor that is flat and solid.

Then check depth if it is tight

Micro Series exists for openings a standard cabinet will not fit. If depth is the binding constraint rather than floor area, start there.

Cut to Measured Data and a Published Bolt Pattern

ResoNix publishes large-signal measured parameters and a full mounting specification including the bolt circle. Only a handful of the drivers in our database carry a published bolt circle at all. It means these baffles are cut to fit exactly rather than to a generic cutout.

We Cut the Box, You Source the Driver

We do not currently stock ResoNix drivers. These cabinets are built to the figures ResoNix publishes, for a subwoofer you already own or buy elsewhere. Nothing about the fit depends on where the driver came from.

Three Orientations, Every Size

This is one of the more complete brand ranges we cut. Standard front-firing, wedge and down-fire are all represented across ten, twelve and fifteen inch, in single and dual, so the orientation can follow the space rather than limiting it.

Performance Optimized covers most of the range on a 1.5 inch double baffle. Micro Series covers the shallow-space builds. Everything is sealed and ships with polyfill installed.

The cabinets here are cut for the ResoNix GUS subwoofers in ten, twelve and fifteen inch. Each product page names the exact model and coil variant it was designed around, and that is the match to work from.

Do you sell ResoNix subwoofers?

Not at the moment. We build the enclosures, cut to the parameters ResoNix publishes, and you source the driver. If you already own the subwoofer, that is exactly what these cabinets are for.

What makes the ResoNix data worth mentioning?

Which orientation should I choose?

Whichever suits the space, because all three are sealed and cut to the same driver data. Standard front-firing needs only the opening; a wedge sits flush against a seat back; a down-fire cabinet uses the floor as part of the load and needs designed-in clearance underneath.

What is the difference between the Micro and Performance Optimized cabinets?

Micro Series cabinets are the shallow-space builds, for openings a standard cabinet will not fit. Performance Optimized cabinets are cut to one driver on a 1.5 inch double baffle where there is more room. Both are cut to the same published driver data.

Are these sealed or ported?

All sealed, and every one ships with polyfill already installed. The fill is part of how the cabinet was tuned rather than an accessory.
