One Footprint, Sealed Down-Fire

Every cabinet on this page shares one footprint. All of them are thirty inches wide and fifteen deep, and only the height changes between them. Measure that rectangle once on your cargo floor and the fitment question is settled for the whole range.

Sealed down-fire builds cut for Diamond Audio DMD drivers, machined in Tullahoma, Tennessee. We do not sell Diamond Audio drivers; you source the subwoofer and we cut the box.

Sealed down-fire Diamond Audio enclosures in ten and twelve inch, single and dual, all sharing a thirty by fifteen inch footprint with only the height changing.

Cut, assembled and finished in Tullahoma, Tennessee, to the parameters Diamond Audio publishes for each driver.

Driver parameters are taken from Diamond Audio published data. We build enclosures to those figures; we do not currently stock Diamond Audio drivers and make no claim to represent the brand.

Same Footprint, Different Height

The only dimension that changes across this range is the height, and with it the airspace inside. Every cabinet is a sealed down-fire Performance Optimized build.

One Footprint, Different Heights

Most brand ranges make you re-measure for every cabinet, because width and depth move around with the driver. This one does not. The single ten, the single twelve and the dual ten all occupy the same thirty by fifteen inch rectangle. What changes is how tall the box is, and therefore how much air is inside it.

That turns a two-part decision into a one-part decision. If the footprint fits, you are choosing on height clearance and output rather than working out whether each option physically goes in. Published external dimensions are on every listing, measured in the down-fire position with the feet counted.

How to Choose

Start with the rectangle

Thirty by fifteen. It is the same for every cabinet here, so it is the only fitment check you need to make once.

Then pick the height you can clear

The taller the cabinet, the more air inside it. Under a fold-flat seat, measure to the seat back at its lowest position rather than its highest.

Single or dual

The dual is not a single box split in two: each driver gets the same chamber the single ten gets. That is the honest way to double the output rather than halving the volume per driver.

Then source the driver

We do not sell Diamond Audio drivers. These cabinets are cut for a subwoofer you already own or buy from a Diamond Audio retailer.

Measure Once, Then Choose on Height

The footprint is the same for all three

Thirty inches wide by fifteen deep. Check that rectangle against your cargo floor first, because if it does not fit, none of the three will, and if it does, all of them will.

Then the height, with the feet counted

This is the only dimension that separates the cabinets, and it is where the extra airspace lives. Published heights are measured in the down-fire position, so the feet are already included rather than added on afterwards.

Then confirm the floor and the model

Down-fire needs a flat, solid surface rather than a ribbed cargo tray or a spare-wheel lid, both of which flex and rattle. And each cabinet names the Diamond Audio model it was cut for, which is the match to work from rather than the diameter.

Thirty by Fifteen, Every One of Them

Every cabinet here shares the same footprint and differs only in height. Measure thirty inches wide by fifteen deep on your cargo floor once, and you have checked fitment for the entire range. After that the decision is purely how much height you can clear and how much output you want.

We Cut the Box, You Source the Driver

We do not sell Diamond Audio drivers and we do not represent the brand. Every cabinet here is built to the figures Diamond Audio publishes, for a subwoofer you already own or buy elsewhere. Nothing about the fit depends on where the driver came from.

Sealed, Down-Fire, Driver-Matched

Every one is a Performance Optimized build: a 1.5 inch double baffle cut to one driver, sealed, with polyfill already installed and feet that set the floor clearance deliberately rather than leaving it to the carpet.

The dual gives each of its drivers the same chamber volume the single ten gets, rather than splitting one box in half. That is why it is the tallest of the three rather than the widest.

Diamond Audio Subwoofer Box Questions

Do you sell Diamond Audio subwoofers?

No. We do not stock Diamond Audio drivers and we do not represent the brand. We build the enclosure, cut to the parameters Diamond Audio publishes, and you source the subwoofer.

Do all these boxes take up the same space?

The same floor space, yes. All of them are thirty inches wide by fifteen deep. Only the height differs between the three, which is where the extra airspace comes from. Check the footprint once and the rest is a height and output decision.

Which Diamond Audio subwoofers do these fit?

They are cut for Diamond Audio DMD series drivers in ten and twelve inch. Each product page names the exact model it was designed around, and that is the match to work from rather than the nominal size.

Is the dual just the single box with two holes in it?

No. Each driver in the dual gets its own chamber at the same volume the single ten gets, which is why the dual is taller rather than wider. Splitting one box in half would give each driver less air than it needs.

What floor does a down-fire cabinet need?

Flat and solid. A ribbed plastic cargo tray or a lift-out panel will flex under the cabinet and rattle, and neither gives you the boundary loading the orientation was chosen for. The published heights already include the feet.

Are these sealed, and do they ship with polyfill?

Sealed, and yes. Every sealed cabinet we build ships with polyfill already installed. You do not need to add any and you should not remove it, because the fill is part of how the enclosure was tuned.
