The enclosures here are cut for Focal's SUB 25 KXE and SUB 30 KXE subwoofers and for the Flax Evo P 25 FSE, in wedge and down-fire shapes, sealed and ported, single and dual.

Every cabinet is machined in Tullahoma, Tennessee to the parameters Focal publishes for the driver it names. We build the box; you source the driver.

The KXE subwoofers
The SUB 25 KXE and SUB 30 KXE get the widest choice here: sealed wedges and sealed down-fires in single and dual, plus ported cabinets tuned between 34 and 35 Hz.

The Flax Evo P 25 FSE
The ten inch Flax Evo is cut as a sealed down-fire at 0.80 cubic feet, to the figures Focal publishes for that driver.

One construction standard
Every cabinet on this page is Performance Optimized: a 1.5 inch double baffle, cut to one driver rather than to a size class, with a 1-year limited warranty.

How to Choose

Start from the driver
Each cabinet is cut to one Focal model's published parameters, and the listing names it. The SUB 25 KXE and the Flax Evo P 25 FSE are both ten inch drivers that want different cabinets.

Then the alignment
Sealed is the smaller, more forgiving box and ships with polyfill installed. Ported gives more output around its tuning from a larger cabinet and ships without fill. The sealed and ported pages set the two side by side.

Then the shape
Wedge if the box goes against a seat back, down-fire if it sits on a floor.

Then source the driver
We do not stock Focal subwoofers. These cabinets are cut for a driver you already own or buy elsewhere. Other brands are on the subwoofer box hub.

Wedge or Down-Fire

Wedge: against a seat back
The rear panel is tapered to sit flush against a raked seat back or a truck cab wall. That recovers airspace a square box would waste in the same spot. See every brand's wedge cabinets.

Down-fire: on a flat floor
The cone faces the floor, with the gap set by the cabinet's feet rather than left to chance. It suits an SUV or hatch cargo floor where height is short. See every brand's down-fire cabinets.

Cut for One Driver, Not a Size Class

A ten inch Focal cabinet here is not a general ten inch box. Each is cut to the published alignment of the driver it names, so the net volume and the baffle cutout are right for that model rather than approximated for a family of them.

Enclosure Only

We do not stock Focal subwoofers. These cabinets are built to Focal's published figures for a driver you already own or buy elsewhere, and any warranty on the driver itself runs through Focal.

Focal Subwoofer Box Questions

Which Focal subwoofers do these boxes fit?

The SUB 25 KXE and SUB 30 KXE, and the Flax Evo P 25 FSE. Each product page names the driver its cabinet was cut for. Match the model rather than the size, because the two Focal tens here want different cabinets.

Do you sell Focal subwoofers?

No. We build the enclosure to the figures Focal publishes and you source the driver. Any warranty on the driver itself runs through Focal.

Should I choose sealed or ported for my KXE?

Sealed is the smaller, more forgiving box and holds its output below tuning. Ported gives more output around its tuning, 34 or 35 Hz here, from a larger cabinet. Our EBP calculator is a quick first check on which alignment a driver favours.

Wedge or down-fire?

Wedge if the box goes against a seat back or a truck cab wall; its tapered rear panel recovers airspace there. Down-fire if it sits on a flat cargo floor, with the floor gap set by the cabinet's feet.

Do the sealed boxes come with polyfill?

Yes. Every sealed cabinet ships with polyfill installed. The ported cabinets ship without it, so the tuning on the listing is the tuning you get.

What warranty do these cabinets carry?

Every Focal cabinet here is Performance Optimized, which carries a 1-year limited warranty on the enclosure from the date of purchase.
