Proline X Loaded Subwoofer Boxes

The Proline X Loaded Series is a complete bass solution: subwoofer pre-installed in a spec-matched enclosure, fully wired to the terminal cup, ready to power on install. Each Loaded SKU is built on one of the underlying Proline X enclosure series (Performance Optimized, Micro, Professional, or Vehicle Specific), so the construction method matches the driver's requirements. Skip the enclosure design, skip the impedance math, skip the wiring. Install and play.

Loaded Subwoofer Boxes for Easy Installation and Reliable Bass Performance

What a Loaded System Solves

A complete bass build typically requires three matched decisions: which driver, which enclosure for that driver, and what wiring approach. Get any of them wrong and the system either underperforms, sounds worse than the components should, or fails entirely. Most car audio buyers don't have the experience to make those three decisions correctly. Most installers don't have the time to walk every customer through them.

The Loaded Series solves all three at once. Each SKU is a single-decision purchase. The driver, the enclosure, and the wiring are already matched and assembled. The buyer chooses by use case (compact install, daily driver, competition build, vehicle-specific fitment) rather than by component spec. The system arrives ready to mount, wire to the amplifier, and play.

Built on the Proline X Enclosure Series

Each Loaded SKU is built using the construction method of its underlying enclosure series. The label tells you which series the system is built on.

Loaded on Performance Optimized: Driver-matched panel-construction enclosure with Dado and V-Groove joinery. The serious mid-tier choice for full-depth high-output drivers like Image Dynamics IDMAX and Audiomobile GT2.

Loaded on Micro Series: Stack-fabricated compact sealed enclosure with internal dowel reinforcement. The right choice for shallow-mount drivers like Wavtech thinPRO, JL Audio TW3, Alpine RSW, and tight-space installs.

Loaded on Professional Series: Double-baffle panel construction with threaded inserts matched to the driver's bolt pattern. The competition-grade choice for high-output builds with Image Dynamics IDMAX or JL Audio W7-class drivers.

Loaded on Vehicle Specific: Vehicle-fitment enclosure with cabinet dimensions calculated for a specific cab configuration. Currently includes Ford F-150 and F-250 behind-seat fitments.

What Pre-Wired Means

The driver in every Loaded SKU is already mounted in the enclosure and wired to the terminal cup with 12 gauge OFC speaker wire. The terminal cup is the Proline X composite cup used across the Proline X enclosure lineup, designed for clean wire termination at higher gauges than standard spring-clip cups will accept.

At install, the buyer connects two wires from the amplifier to the terminal cup. That's the entire wiring step. No measuring voice coil leads, no cutting wire to length, no impedance calculation, no driver mounting hardware to source. The system is ready to power on.

Driver Brands Available Loaded

The current Loaded lineup includes systems built around drivers from JL Audio (TW3, W7), Image Dynamics (IDMAX), Audiomobile (GT2), Arc Audio (A-series), Wavtech (thinPRO), Alpine (RSW), Prodigy (NB2, NB3), Kicker (CompRT for Ford fitments), and Helix (Precision P8W closeout). The driver carried in each Loaded SKU determines the series of underlying enclosure construction. Each system is sold complete; you don't buy the components separately.

Frequently Asked Loaded Series Questions

What does "Loaded" actually mean?

The driver is pre-installed in the enclosure and pre-wired to the terminal cup with 12 gauge OFC speaker wire. The buyer doesn't mount the driver, doesn't wire from voice coil to terminal cup, and doesn't have to source mounting hardware. The complete system arrives ready to mount in the vehicle, connect two wires from the amplifier, and play.

How is the Loaded Series different from buying the driver and enclosure separately?

The components are the same. The Loaded SKU bundles them as a single matched system at a slight discount versus buying separately, plus eliminates the wiring and mounting work. For buyers who want a single-decision purchase or who don't want to handle the wiring, the Loaded system is the practical choice. For buyers who want to mix a different driver into one of our enclosures, the standalone enclosure (in the appropriate series) is the path.

Can I upgrade or swap the driver in a Loaded system later?

Mechanically yes. The driver is mounted with standard hardware and the wiring is accessible. Practically, the enclosure is built around the labeled driver's specific Thiele-Small parameters, so swapping in a different driver puts the system outside its design alignment. If you might want to change drivers in the future, the standalone enclosure plus a separately-purchased driver gives you that flexibility. The Loaded SKU is optimized for keeping the system as built.

What amplifier do I need for a Loaded system?

The amplifier requirement is determined by the driver in the system, not by the enclosure. Match the amplifier's RMS output at the wired impedance to the driver's RMS rating. Each Loaded product page lists the driver's RMS rating and recommended impedance configuration. A monoblock amplifier matched to that spec is the standard approach for a Loaded build.

Are Loaded systems sealed only, or are ported options available?

Both sealed and ported Loaded systems are available depending on the SKU and underlying series. Performance Optimized Loaded systems include both. Micro Series Loaded systems are sealed only (compact form factor). Professional Series Loaded systems include both sealed and ported. The product listing for each Loaded SKU indicates the alignment.

Why are some Loaded systems Vehicle Specific?

Vehicle Specific Loaded systems are built around a specific cab configuration (currently Ford F-150 and F-250 behind-seat installs). The enclosure dimensions are calculated to fit that specific install location, and the driver is matched to work in that cabinet. For trucks where the install location dictates a custom enclosure shape, the Vehicle Specific Loaded path is faster and cheaper than commissioning a one-off build.
