The A10 is a shallow mount 10 inch driver at 3.77 inches of mounting depth, 250 watts RMS, with 15.2mm of published one-way Xmax. Arc Audio publishes 0.60 cubic feet as the optimum sealed volume for it. This enclosure delivers exactly that in a stack fabricated cabinet six inches deep, with the driver already mounted, wired and sealed against the baffle.
0.60 cu ft — Arc Audio's Published Optimum
Arc Audio publishes a sealed range of 0.40 to 0.90 cubic feet for the A10, with 0.60 identified as the optimum. This enclosure delivers exactly 0.60 cubic feet of net acoustic airspace. It is not a generic box the driver happens to fit into.
The A10 has a Qts of roughly 0.51 and an Fs near 27 Hz, which places it between the low Qts sound quality drivers and the high Qts warm bass drivers. At this volume the system Qtc lands in the elevated range, producing strong output between 50 and 80 Hz where most bass energy in music actually sits. That is the acoustic signature Arc designed the A10 around. It is a daily driver alignment, and it does not need DSP to sound right.
Why the Volume Math Looks Wrong From Outside
This is the most common question we get on every Micro Series cabinet. External dimensions of 24 by 14 by 6 inches, minus 3/4 inch walls on all six sides, appears to leave roughly 0.73 cubic feet. The listed figure is 0.60. That looks like a 22 percent discrepancy.
The calculation assumes four things that are not true here. The baffle is 1.5 inches, not 0.75, because it is a double layer stack fab build. All four corners are radiused three inches top down, which removes measurable volume that a rectangular calculation assumes is open airspace. The area behind the driver magnet is precision milled, both to trim volume to target and to increase open area behind the pole vent so voice coil cooling airflow is not restricted. And the driver itself displaces airspace once installed, which an external calculation never accounts for.
We calculate net volume by summing the internal volume of every CNC cut layer's opening. That is the only method that gives an accurate figure for what the driver actually loads into. The 0.60 is exact, not approximate.
Shallow Is a Solution to a Constraint
The A10 exists because behind seat and under seat spaces have a depth the vehicle decides and you do not. At 3.77 inches of mounting depth in a six inch cabinet, this system goes places a full depth 10 inch sealed box cannot.
If you have room for a standard depth driver, a standard driver in a standard box will generally give you more output for the money. Shallow is not a free upgrade. It is the right answer when the space is fixed and the wrong answer when it is not.
0.60 cu ft, Calculated Layer by Layer
Arc publishes 0.60 cu ft as the optimum. This cabinet delivers exactly that, calculated by summing each CNC cut layer's opening rather than estimating from external dimensions.
6" Cabinet, 3.77" Driver Clearance
The A10 needs 3.77 inches of mounting depth. The six inch cabinet clears the rear motor structure with the precision milled magnet relief maintaining cooling airflow behind the pole vent.
1.5" Double-Layer Stack Fab
Two bonded layers of Langboard Elite 3/4" MDF at 1.5 inches total, dowel reinforced throughout. Baffle resonance at the panel level adds coloration. Double layer construction removes it structurally.
8/32 Threaded Inserts, Screws Included
The driver mounts to steel, not MDF. Consistent clamping force at every point and clean reinstallation at any service interval, which screws into board will not give you twice.
Pre-Wired 12g OFC
The recessed Proline X ABS and carbon fiber terminal cup with stainless hardware and copper ring terminals is installed and wired to the driver. Connect your amplifier run and wiring is complete.
3" Radiused, All Four
Radiused top down on every corner. It breaks up the parallel wall geometry that creates internal standing waves, and it produces a finished shape that sits against trim without catching.
Front Firing or Down Firing
Rubber feet included. Down firing couples output into the floor and suits truck cabs. Keep the gap under the cabinet clear if you go that way, because it is the air path rather than storage.
Polyfill Installed at the Bench
Fitted and matched to this volume before the cabinet is sealed. It dampens internal reflections and makes the box behave acoustically larger than its physical volume. Consistent density on every unit.

The system ships fully assembled. The A10 is mounted to threaded inserts, gasketed and sealed against the baffle, and wired to the Proline X terminal cup with 12 gauge OFC. Polyfill is installed. Rubber feet for down firing are included. Connect your amplifier run and the install is complete.
Impedance Options — D2 and D4
The A10 is available as a Dual 2 ohm and a Dual 4 ohm. Wire the D2 parallel for 1 ohm or series for 4 ohms. Wire the D4 parallel for 2 ohms or series for 8 ohms. Most builds run the D4 parallel at 2 ohms into a stable monoblock delivering 200 to 250 watts RMS. Confirm your amplifier's minimum stable impedance before selecting the voice coil.

Built From a Spec Sheet, Not a Sales Sheet
Every Proline X Performance Series enclosure is CNC-cut from Langboard Elite MDF, 3/4" (18mm) panels produced to published mill specifications. Most enclosure manufacturers source generic MDF without published data. We can tell you the internal bond rating, the modulus of elasticity, the modulus of rupture, and the face and edge screw holding strength for every panel in this enclosure, because we chose the material based on those numbers, not on price or availability.
Langboard Elite is produced in the United States. The specifications below are pulled directly from Langboard's published mill data and are verifiable. This is the same panel stock used in our full Proline X lineup.

200 psi: The Number That Actually Matters for Enclosures
The internal bond rating measures how well the MDF panel resists delamination under sustained pressure applied perpendicular to the face. In a subwoofer enclosure, every bass transient generates a pressure pulse that pushes outward on every panel simultaneously. A panel that begins to delaminate internally loses stiffness gradually. The symptoms are slow: a box that starts to sound softer, less defined, less punchy over months of use. 200 psi internal bond is the spec that determines how long this enclosure holds its acoustic integrity under daily use at real power levels.
410,000 psi MOE: Less Flex, Less Resonance
The modulus of elasticity measures panel stiffness, its resistance to bending under load. A stiffer panel flexes less under the pressure generated by a high-excursion driver at volume. Panel flex is a source of acoustic coloration: the panel itself begins to radiate sound at its own resonant frequency, adding distortion to the output. 410,000 psi stiffness combined with V-groove and dado joinery means the panels stay rigid and the bracing controls resonance at the structure level, not the panel level. The bass you hear comes from the driver, not the box.
325 lb Face / 250 lb Edge: Joints That Stay Locked
Screw holding strength determines how firmly the panel grips a fastener at the face and at the edge. This matters most at the baffle joint, where the front panel meets the side panels and where the driver is mounted. A panel with low screw holding strength allows fasteners to loosen over time under vibration, leading to air gaps at the joint and loss of acoustic seal. 325 lb face screw holding strength means the baffle hardware stays put. Combined with dado joinery and adhesive, the front panel on a Proline X Performance Series enclosure is not going anywhere.
Named Panel Stock: Not "Premium MDF"
The phrase "premium MDF" or "high-density MDF" appears on marketing copy for enclosures across every price point, from $40 to $400. It is not a specification. It is a description with no defined standard. Langboard Elite is a named, sourced, mill-documented product with published data. We name it in our copy because naming it holds us accountable to the spec. You can look up Langboard Elite independently, verify the numbers on this page, and confirm you are getting what we say you are getting. That is the point.
