Direct-fit behind-seat enclosures for the 2015-2023 and 2024-2026 Ford F-150.
Every enclosure on this page is cut for one space: the cavity behind the rear seat of a Ford F-150. There are two platforms and they are not interchangeable. The 2015-2023 F-150 and the 2017-2023 F-250 Super Duty share one box at 0.5 cubic feet net behind a 10-inch driver. The 2024-2026 F-150 uses a different box at 0.6 cubic feet net, 45 inches wide by 14.25 inches tall by 3.75 inches deep, because Ford relocated the factory amplifier and subwoofer on the current body.
Both mount on the passenger side behind the rear seat with no cutting and no permanent modification, and the seat bottom still locks in the up position. Mounting depth is 3.75 inches on the 2015-2023 box and 3.5 inches on the 2024-2026 box, which is why these are built around shallow-mount drivers rather than standard ones.
These fit SuperCrew and SuperCab trucks. A Regular Cab F-150 does not have the rear seat structure the enclosure mounts behind, so there is no behind-seat box for it. The 2024-2026 enclosure fits the F-150 only. F-250 fitment stops at the 2023 Super Duty.

subwoofer locations. That split the lineup in two. Nothing here is a universal box trimmed to fit, so
start by matching your truck to the right platform.

Both platforms fit SuperCrew and SuperCab trucks. Neither fits a Regular Cab, which most buyers call a
single cab. A Regular Cab F-150 does not have the rear seat these enclosures mount behind, so there is no
behind-seat box for that truck at any model year. If that is what you drive,

Choosing the Enclosure
Sealed or PR Edition
On the 2015-2023 platform you can have the same footprint two ways. The standard box is sealed. The PR
Edition swaps in a passive radiator, which is a driver with no motor that the sealed volume drives
acoustically. It buys low-end extension a port would normally provide, without a port to make noise in a
space this small.
You want tight, accurate bass and the lowest entry price
You want more output under 40 Hz without changing the footprint
Empty or Loaded
An empty box ships prewired to the terminal cup and ready for a shallow-mount driver you supply. Watch
the depth: 3.75 inches on the 2015-2023 box, 3.5 inches on the 2024-2026 box. A loaded box ships with the
driver already mounted and wired.
Every one of these is a passive enclosure. You still need
an amplifier, and for a single sub a
monoblock is the right topology. Running the factory head unit
means adding a line output converter or a DSP with speaker-level inputs.
How These Are Built
Langboard Elite 3/4-inch MDF, rated 48.5 lb/ft³ with a 200 psi internal bond and 410,000 psi MOE,
CNC-cut on our ShopSabre routers in Tullahoma, Tennessee. Every box is internally braced and wrapped in
plush black carpet; the 2024-2026 enclosure adds lasered acrylic inserts.
Each one is prewired with 12-gauge OFC to a Proline X ABS and carbon fiber composite terminal cup with
stainless steel hardware and copper ring terminals. Sealed variants ship with polyfill installed. These
are part of the Vehicle Specific Series and carry
a 2-year warranty.
It depends on the model year and the cab. We build two different enclosures. The 2015-2023 F-150 and 2017-2023 F-250 Super Duty use one box; the 2024-2026 F-150 uses another. Does it fit a single cab or regular cab F-150?
No. A Regular Cab F-150, which many buyers call a single cab, does not have the rear seat structure these enclosures mount behind, so there is no behind-seat box for that cab. If you drive a Regular Cab truck, an under-seat or console-side enclosure is the direction to go and we can build one to your measurements.
Does the 2024-2026 box fit an F-250?
No. The 2024-2026 enclosure fits the F-150 only. F-250 Super Duty fitment covers 2017-2023 trucks, which use the same box as the 2015-2023 F-150.
Should I buy the enclosure empty or loaded?
Buy it empty if you already own a shallow-mount driver that fits the depth. Buy it loaded if you want a matched box and sub that ships wired and ready for amplifier leads. Loaded builds are available with the Kicker CompRT 10, JL Audio 10TW3-D4, Wavtech thinPRO 12, and Audiomobile drivers.
What is the PR Edition F-150 box?
The PR Edition adds a passive radiator to the same 0.5 cubic foot behind-seat footprint. A passive radiator extends low-frequency output without a port, so you get more output below 40 Hz without port noise and without needing more space. It is built on the 2015-2023 platform.
How much cab space does the enclosure take up?
None that you were using. The box occupies the dead cavity behind the rear seat, mounted on the passenger side. The seat bottom still folds and locks up, and under-seat storage stays accessible.
Do I need an amplifier for a Ford F-150 subwoofer box?
Yes. These are passive enclosures with no amplification built in. A monoblock amplifier matched to the driver's impedance is the standard approach. If you are keeping the factory head unit, you will also need a line output converter or a DSP with speaker-level inputs.
What are these enclosures made of?
Langboard Elite 3/4-inch MDF, CNC-cut on our ShopSabre routers in Tullahoma, Tennessee. The 2024-2026 box uses a 1.25-inch front baffle and weighs 35 pounds; the 2015-2023 box uses a 0.75-inch baffle and weighs 22 pounds. Both are wrapped in plush black carpet, internally braced, prewired with 12-gauge OFC to a Proline X terminal cup, and covered by a 2-year warranty.
