Pick the cabinet for the Alpine Type R size you own; each listing is cut for one size only.

Sealed or ported
Sealed is the smaller box and holds its output below tuning. Ported gives more output around its tuning from a larger cabinet, and every ported listing states its tuning.

Wiring
The Type R drivers come in dual 2 ohm and dual 4 ohm versions. Match the coil to your amplifier's stable load, and run two of the same model and coil in a dual cabinet.

Which Alpine Type R sizes do you build boxes for?

What is the difference between the R2-W and the RS-W?

The R2-W is Alpine's full-depth Type R subwoofer; the RS-W is the shallow R-Series version for tight spaces. Their mounting depth and parameters differ, so the R2-W boxes here are wedges and the RS-W boxes are shallow down fires and Micro sealed cabinets.

Sealed or ported for the Alpine Type R?
