Sealed and ported cabinets solved from the JL Audio W7's own parameters. The dual cabinets split the air with a full-height divider, so each driver gets its own chamber.

Professional Series

Are the 8, 10 and 12 inch W7AE dual voice coil?

No. JL rates the 8, 10 and 12 inch W7AE as single 3 ohm voice coil drivers. A pair wires to 1.5 ohms in parallel or 6 ohms in series. Only the 13.5 inch W7AE is dual voice coil, at 1.5 ohms per coil.

Sealed or ported for the JL Audio W7?
