Wāvtech Car Audio

Wāvtech builds two things exceptionally well — shallow-mount subwoofers and OEM integration. If you're working in a vehicle where space is limited, or you're keeping a factory head unit and need a clean signal path to aftermarket components, Wāvtech belongs in your system.

The thinPRO subwoofer line — available in 10 and 12 inch — is engineered specifically for installations where a standard-depth driver won't fit. Behind-seat truck installs, under-seat applications, and any build where the enclosure depth is constrained. These aren't compromise drivers. The thinPRO is built to perform in the enclosure volumes that shallow-mount installations actually allow.

On the integration side, Wāvtech's link series and bassRESTOR processors solve the factory head unit problem cleanly. Modern OEM systems use signal processing, equalization curves, and speaker-level outputs that degrade when you try to tap into them with a standard line output converter. Wāvtech's products are designed specifically to handle these signals correctly — summing channels, restoring bass frequencies lost in factory processing, and delivering a clean line-level output to your aftermarket amplifier.

Audio Intensity also builds Proline X CNC-cut enclosures spec-matched to the Wāvtech thinPRO 10 and thinPRO 12 — including direct-fit behind-seat boxes for the 2015–2023 and 2024–2025 Ford F-150 and F-250. If you're building around Wāvtech, we have the enclosure side handled.

thinPRO Subwoofers

The Wāvtech thinPRO line exists to solve a specific problem — how do you get real bass output from a driver that has to fit in a 3-inch mounting depth? The answer is in the motor design. The thinPRO uses a purpose-built motor structure optimized for the excursion characteristics of a shallow enclosure rather than adapted from a standard-depth design. The result is a driver that actually performs in the volumes it's installed into, not one that's been shoehorned into an application it wasn't built for.

thinPRO 10

The thinPRO 10 is rated at 600W RMS and is the right choice for under-seat installations, compact sealed enclosures, and any build where the 12 inch footprint is too large. Pair it with the Proline X Micro Series M10-S sealed enclosure for a complete matched system.

thinPRO 12

The thinPRO 12 is rated at 750W RMS and covers behind-seat truck installs and larger shallow-mount applications. Proline X builds direct-fit enclosures for the Ford F-150 and F-250 loaded with the thinPRO 12 — both the 2015–2023 and 2024–2025 generations. If you're running one of those trucks, it's the cleanest possible installation.

OEM Integration

bassRESTOR

The bassRESTOR is a bass restoration processor — it rebuilds the low-frequency content that factory DSP systems roll off or remove from their output signal. Many OEM amplifiers apply heavy bass EQ before the speaker-level output, which means a standard line output converter is tapping a signal that's already been processed and distorted. The bassRESTOR corrects this before the signal reaches your aftermarket amplifier.

link Series Line Output Converters

The link series covers multi-channel OEM signal extraction. The link2, link4, link6, and link8 handle 2, 4, 6, and 8 channel configurations respectively — pulling a clean line-level signal from factory speaker outputs for use with aftermarket amplifiers. These are not generic LOCs. They're designed with Wāvtech's signal summing and processing capability built in, which matters when you're working with complex factory audio systems that have multiple amplified channels feeding the same speaker location.

Amplifiers

Wāvtech's amplifier lineup is built for the same installations their integration products target — compact, clean, and efficient.

The link1000.1mini monoblock delivers 1000W RMS at 2 ohms in a compact chassis designed to fit in tight installation locations alongside a shallow-mount subwoofer enclosure. The link1500.1plus steps up to 1500W RMS for builds that need more headroom. On the multichannel side, the link300.4mini and link500.4mini four-channel amplifiers cover front stage power in the same compact format, and the link1000.5plus handles full system amplification in a single five-channel unit.

All Wāvtech amplifiers feature DC offset auto turn-on, which generates a remote turn-on signal from the speaker-level input — no need for a separate remote wire from the head unit in OEM integration applications.

Accessories

linkRC Remote Level Control

Bass level adjustment from the driver's seat. Connects to compatible Wāvtech amplifiers and gives you a dedicated control knob without routing through the head unit.

IRAD+ Ignition Trigger

Generates a 12V remote turn-on signal keyed to ignition — for installations where the amplifier remote signal needs to come from the vehicle's ignition circuit rather than the head unit.

ART Auto Remote Trigger

Senses audio signal and automatically generates a remote turn-on output. Eliminates the need for a manual remote wire in applications where the signal-sensing approach is cleaner.

Proline X Enclosures for Wāvtech

Audio Intensity CNC-manufactures Proline X enclosures spec-matched to the Wāvtech thinPRO 10 and thinPRO 12. Internal volume, port tuning, and baffle cutout are calculated specifically for these drivers — not adapted from a generic enclosure template. Available as enclosure-only or as a complete loaded system with the driver pre-installed.

Direct-fit options for the Ford F-150 and F-250 are available for both the 2015–2023 and 2024–2025 body styles — designed to drop into the behind-seat space without modification.
