Proline X Micro Series Dual 10" Sealed Enclosure - Fits Wavtech thinPRO 10
Dual 10". 4.5 Inches Deep.
0.40 cu ft Per Chamber — Wavtech's Optimum.
Two Wavtech thinPRO 10 drivers. Two isolated sealed chambers. Each chamber holds 0.40 cubic feet of net airspace — which after driver displacement accounts for exactly Wavtech's 0.35 cubic foot sweet spot. The M10D-S WAV delivers dual 10" output from a 44-inch wide, 4.5-inch deep footprint designed for full-width behind-seat truck installs and wide cargo floor applications where a conventional dual 10" build would never fit.
0.40 cu ft Per Chamber — Net After Displacement, Optimum Acoustic Airspace
Wavtech publishes a sealed sweet spot of 0.35 cubic feet for the thinPRO 10, with an acceptable range of 0.25–0.80 cubic feet. The M10D-S WAV delivers 0.40 cubic feet of net volume per chamber. That figure already accounts for driver displacement — each thinPRO 10 sees 0.35 cubic feet of net acoustic airspace after its own displacement is subtracted from the 0.40 cubic foot chamber. This puts each driver precisely at Wavtech's published optimum, not approximately near it.
Running two drivers in a shared enclosure is not a matter of doubling a single-driver box. Each driver needs its own acoustically isolated chamber to load correctly. The M10D-S WAV uses a dual-chamber construction with a CNC-cut, dado-jointed chamber divider. Neither driver shares airspace with the other. Each chamber independently delivers the correct volume for the thinPRO 10's T/S parameters.
Extra-Wide, Minimal Depth — Stack-Fab Built to Stay Inert at 4.5"
At 44 inches wide and 4.5 inches deep, the M10D-S WAV is the widest, shallowest enclosure in the Micro Series. The extra-wide format is intentional — it spans the full width of most full-size truck cab floors, placing both drivers at opposite ends of the available space for maximum acoustic separation and even bass distribution across the cabin.
The front baffle is a double-layer stack-fab build — two CNC-cut Langboard Elite MDF panels bonded to 1.5 inches total. At 4.5 inches of total depth, panel width is the primary geometric rigidity constraint. Stack-fab layering and dado joinery at every panel joint — with dowels reinforcing the assembly throughout — compensate for what shallow panel depth cannot provide alone. Both drivers mount flush to the baffle face, sealed with their gaskets against the double-layer front panel.
Impedance Wiring — Know Before You Order
0.40 cu ft Per Chamber — Displacement Accounted For
Each chamber holds 0.40 cu ft net. After driver displacement, each thinPRO 10 sees 0.35 cu ft of acoustic airspace — Wavtech's published sweet spot. This is not approximated from external dimensions. It is calculated net volume with displacement already subtracted.
44" Wide — Full-Width Truck Cab Fitment
At 44 inches wide, the M10D-S WAV spans the full floor width of most full-size crew cab and extended cab trucks. Both drivers sit at opposite ends of the available floor space, maximizing acoustic separation and even bass distribution across the cabin.
1.5" Double-Layer — Flush-Mounted Drivers
Two bonded layers of Langboard Elite 3/4" MDF at 1.5 inches total. Both thinPRO 10 drivers mount flush to the baffle face, sealing against their gaskets against the double-layer front panel — no recessed pockets, no fitment gaps.
Dual Chamber — Acoustically Isolated, CNC Divider
A CNC-cut, dado-jointed chamber divider separates the two driver volumes completely. Neither driver shares airspace with the other. Each thinPRO 10 loads into its own sealed 0.40 cu ft chamber independently — correct acoustic alignment on both sides, every time.
Single Proline X Terminal Cup — Pre-Wired
One Proline X ABS/carbon fiber terminal cup with stainless hardware serves the entire enclosure. Pre-wired internally with 12-gauge OFC to both driver positions. Connect your single amplifier run to the terminal and both drivers are fed — clean, simple, no splicing required.
8/32 Threaded Inserts — Both Baffles
Both baffle positions are fitted with 8/32 threaded inserts. Stainless machine screws are included for both drivers. Each thinPRO 10 threads into steel — not MDF. Consistent clamping force, no stripping, clean reinstallation at any future service.
Front-Firing or Downfiring — Feet Included
Rubber feet for downfiring installation are included. The extra-wide format lays flat across a truck cab floor in downfire orientation, coupling both drivers' output to the full floor surface. This is the most effective install configuration for this enclosure in a full-size truck cab.
Dowel-Reinforced Stack Fab Throughout
Dowels throughout the stack-fab assembly add mechanical alignment and shear resistance at panel joints beyond what dado joinery and adhesive alone provide. At 1,500 watts RMS combined across two drivers in a 4.5-inch-deep enclosure, dado + adhesive + dowels — all three systems — is the correct structural standard.
Ready to Mount. Ready to Wire. Ready to Downfire.
The M10D-S WAV ships fully prepped. The Proline X terminal cup is installed and pre-wired with 12-gauge OFC to both driver positions — one amplifier run, both drivers fed. Both baffles use 8/32 threaded inserts with stainless machine screws included. Rubber feet for downfiring are included. Polyfill is factory-installed in both chambers.
Single Voice Coil — Single Connection Per Driver
The thinPRO 10 is a single voice coil driver — no wiring configuration at the driver level. Select the 2Ω or 4Ω variant at purchase based on your target system impedance. Wire both drivers to the terminal cup in parallel or series to achieve your final amplifier load. See the impedance wiring chart above before selecting your variant.
Where It Fits
The M10D-S WAV's 44" wide, 4.5" deep format is purpose-built for full-width behind-seat and cargo floor installs. Measure the available width carefully — 44" is a significant span:
- Behind-seat floor — full-size crew cab trucks (full-width)
- Behind-seat floor — extended cab trucks (full-width)
- Flat cargo floor — full-size SUVs and vans
- Trunk floor — full-size sedans with wide trunk openings
- Downfire on cab floor — maximum floor coupling, both drivers
- Stealth under-seat builds — any vehicle with 44"+ floor width at 4.5" clearance

Built From a Spec Sheet, Not a Sales Sheet
Every Proline X Micro Series enclosure is CNC-cut from Langboard Elite MDF — 3/4" (18mm) panels produced to published mill specifications. Most enclosure manufacturers source generic MDF without published data. We can tell you the internal bond rating, the modulus of elasticity, the modulus of rupture, and the face and edge screw holding strength for every panel in this enclosure — because we chose the material based on those numbers, not on price or availability.
Langboard Elite is produced in the United States. The specifications below are pulled directly from Langboard's published mill data and are verifiable. This is the same panel stock used across the full Proline X lineup.
Langboard Elite MDF — Published Mill Data
| Property | Value | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|
| Panel Stock | Langboard Elite MDF | Named, verifiable panel source — not generic "high-density MDF" |
| Thickness | 3/4" (18mm) | Industry standard for subwoofer enclosures; panels below this flex under pressure |
| Density | 48.5 lbs/ft³ | Higher density = less porosity, better screw retention, reduced resonance |
| Internal Bond | 200 psi | Measures resistance to delamination under sustained internal pressure — the most enclosure-relevant spec on this sheet |
| Modulus of Rupture (MOR) | 4,200 psi | Bending strength before the panel breaks — relevant for larger unsupported baffle spans |
| Modulus of Elasticity (MOE) | 410,000 psi | Stiffness under load; higher MOE means less panel flex under bass pressure, less resonance |
| Face Screw Holding | 325 lbs | How firmly the panel surface holds a screw; critical for baffle joint integrity over time |
| Edge Screw Holding | 250 lbs | Panel edge retention — relevant for every joint that isn't face-to-face |
200 psi — The Number That Actually Matters for Enclosures
The internal bond rating measures how well the MDF panel resists delamination under sustained pressure applied perpendicular to the face. In a subwoofer enclosure, every bass transient generates a pressure pulse that pushes outward on every panel simultaneously. A panel that begins to delaminate internally loses stiffness gradually — the symptoms are slow: a box that starts to sound softer, less defined, less punchy over months of use. 200 psi internal bond is the spec that determines how long this enclosure holds its acoustic integrity under daily use at real power levels.
410,000 psi MOE — Less Flex, Less Resonance
The modulus of elasticity measures panel stiffness — resistance to bending under load. A stiffer panel flexes less under the pressure generated by a high-excursion driver at volume. Panel flex is a source of acoustic coloration: the panel itself begins to radiate sound at its own resonant frequency, adding distortion to the output. 410,000 psi stiffness combined with stack-fab layering and dado joinery means the panels stay rigid and the bracing controls resonance at the structure level — not the panel level. The bass you hear comes from the driver, not the box.
325 lb Face / 250 lb Edge — Joints That Stay Locked
Screw holding strength determines how firmly the panel grips a fastener at the face and at the edge. This matters most at the baffle joint — where the front panel meets the side panels and where the driver is mounted. A panel with low screw holding strength allows fasteners to loosen over time under vibration, leading to air gaps at the joint and loss of acoustic seal. 325 lb face screw holding strength means the baffle hardware stays put. Combined with dado joinery and adhesive, the front panel on a Proline X Micro Series enclosure is not going anywhere.
Named Panel Stock — Not "Premium MDF"
The phrase "premium MDF" or "high-density MDF" appears on marketing copy for enclosures across every price point, from $40 to $400. It is not a specification — it is a description with no defined standard. Langboard Elite is a named, sourced, mill-documented product with published data. We name it in our copy because naming it holds us accountable to the spec. You can look up Langboard Elite independently, verify the numbers on this page, and confirm you are getting what we say you are getting. That is the point.
