Compact Class D built to link into any system

Wavtech is compact Class D built to link into a system without a full rebuild. Every amp takes speaker-level input up to 40V, reads an adaptive OEM load, and is only 1.65 inches tall, so it drops into a factory head-unit system or a tight space and just works.

Two families carry it. The mini line is the small-chassis power, a four-channel from 50W to 75W a channel plus compact monoblocks. The plus line is the larger chassis with more channels, including the 5-channel link1000.5plus, the 1500W link1500.1plus and a genuine 8-channel. The whole line is Class D.

Where Wavtech Sits

Wavtech is compact Class D built to link into a system, factory or aftermarket, without a full rebuild. Every amp takes speaker-level input up to 40V, reads an adaptive OEM load, sums channels, and turns on off a signal, so it drops into a start-stop vehicle with a factory head unit and just works. The whole line is Class D and none of it is bigger than it needs to be.

Two families carry it. The mini line is the small-chassis power, a four-channel that fits behind a glovebox or under a seat. The plus line is the larger chassis with more channels and more output, up to a genuine 8-channel for an active build. This is the brand for adding clean power to a tight space or a factory system, not for a trunk full of heat sinks.

The Wavtech Lineup, Spec by Spec

Every new Wavtech amp we stock, with power and dimensions verified against the manufacturer. Multichannel power is per channel at 4 ohm with the 2 ohm figure in parentheses; the monoblocks show their rated load.

Model Channels Class Power (RMS) Dimensions L×W×H (in) Price
link5001mini Monoblock D 500W @ 2Ω 9.2 × 4.5 × 1.65 $299.99
link300.4mini 4-channel D 4 × 50W @ 4Ω (75W @ 2Ω) 6.4 × 4.5 × 1.65 $329.99
link1000.1mini Monoblock D 600W @ 4Ω / 1000W @ 2Ω 12.2 × 4.5 × 1.65 $399.99
link500.4mini 4-channel D 4 × 75W @ 4Ω (125W @ 2Ω) 9.2 × 4.5 × 1.65 $449.99
link1000.5plus 5-channel D 4 × 75W @ 4Ω + 500W @ 2Ω 11.9 × 5.5 × 1.65 $649.99
link1500.1plus Monoblock D 900W @ 4Ω / 1500W @ 1Ω 13.11 × 6.5 × 1.65 $699.99
link1400.8plus 8-channel D 8 × 100W @ 4Ω (175W @ 2Ω) 13.11 × 6.5 × 1.65 $999.99

Every model here is 1.65 inches tall, so mounting depth is never the problem. The link5001mini is currently between stock runs; the rest are on the shelf. The multichannel amps bridge for a sub, and the 5-channel does a full front stage and a sub on one chassis. Each product page carries the full crossover, EQ and input detail.

The mini line: compact power

Small-chassis Class D for tight installs. The link300.4mini (4 x 50W) fits in a 6.4-inch footprint, the link500.4mini (4 x 75W) steps the power up, and the link5001mini (500W mono) and link1000.1mini (1000W mono at 2 ohm) cover the sub. All of it takes speaker-level input and reads a factory load. See Class D amplifiers and 4-channel amplifiers.

The plus line: more channels, more output

The larger chassis, more power and more channels. The link1000.5plus runs four channels at 75W plus a 500W sub channel, a whole system on one amp. The link1500.1plus is a 1500W monoblock stable to 1 ohm, and the link1400.8plus is a genuine 8-channel at 100W each for a fully active build. See the 5, 6 and 8 channel page and monoblock amplifiers.

Match the amp to the install and the load. The drivers live in component sets and car subwoofers, tuning belongs to a DSP on an active build, and gain is what protects all of it: how we set amplifier gain. See the full range in the amplifier lineup.

Frequently Asked Wavtech Amplifier Questions

What is Wavtech known for?

Compact Class D amplifiers built to integrate with a factory or existing system. Every model accepts speaker-level input up to 40V, reads an adaptive OEM load, and is only 1.65 inches tall, so it drops into a tight space or a factory head-unit system without a line converter. The line runs from a 6.4-inch four-channel up to a genuine 8-channel.

Can I connect a Wavtech amp to my factory stereo?

Yes, that is what the line is built for. Every Wavtech amp takes speaker-level input up to 40V and uses adaptive OEM load technology, so it wires straight into a factory head unit's speaker wires without a separate line output converter. Signal summing and signal-sense turn-on are built in, and the amps are start-stop vehicle compatible.

What is the difference between the mini and plus lines?

Chassis size and output. The mini line is the compact power, a 6.4 to 9.2-inch chassis for tight installs, in four-channel and monoblock. The plus line uses a larger chassis for more channels and more output, including the 5-channel link1000.5plus, the 1500W link1500.1plus monoblock and the 8-channel link1400.8plus. Both share the same factory-integration features.

Which Wavtech amp runs a full system on one chassis?

The link1000.5plus. It runs four channels at 75W for the front and rear or an active front stage, plus a dedicated 500W sub channel at 2 ohm, so one compact amp powers the whole system. It is the amp to reach for when space only allows one chassis.

Which Wavtech amp do I use for a subwoofer?

One of the monoblocks. The link5001mini (500W at 2 ohm) for a single compact sub, and the link1000.1mini (1000W at 2 ohm) or link1500.1plus (1500W, stable to 1 ohm) for more output. All three carry a parametric EQ and subsonic filter and accept the optional linkRC bass knob. Match the amp's power at your wired impedance to the sub's RMS rating.

How tall are these amplifiers?

Every Wavtech amp in the line is 1.65 inches tall. Mounting depth is never the constraint, which is why they suit under-seat, behind-panel and false-floor installs where a taller amp will not fit. Footprint ranges from 6.4 inches on the link300.4mini up to 13.11 inches on the plus-series chassis.

Are these new with manufacturer warranty?

Yes. Every Wavtech amplifier is brand new, sold by an authorized dealer, and carries the full manufacturer warranty. We handle warranty claims directly with the brand.
