What You Are Buying

A two-way 6.5 inch component set: two polypropylene-cone woofers, two 20mm silk dome tweeters, and two compact passive crossovers. Discontinued, and we are not restocking it.

Read this before you buy

Final sale. No returns, no exchanges, no manufacturer warranty. Discontinued model with no replacement pipeline, so a failed driver cannot be matched.

What Ground Zero Published, and What They Did Not

We would rather tell you this up front than bury it. For this model we have the materials and the format, and nothing else.

What is documented

  • 6.5 inch woofer with a polypropylene cone
  • 20mm silk dome tweeter
  • Compact external passive crossovers, one per side
  • Universal fitment for standard 6.5 inch locations

What is not documented

  • Power handling, RMS or peak
  • Sensitivity
  • Impedance
  • Frequency response
  • Mounting depth and cutout diameter
  • Crossover point

We are not going to fill those rows with figures borrowed from a sibling model or estimated from the format. If any of them decide the purchase for you, ask and we will measure a set and read the packaging before it ships. That is a five minute job and we would rather do it than sell you the wrong thing on a final sale.

What the Materials Tell You

Polypropylene cone

The default cone material in this price tier, and there is a reason. It is dimensionally stable, it does not care about humidity, and it self-damps well enough that it does not ring hard in the upper midrange. It is not as stiff as a composite and not as naturally damped as paper, and it sits between the two.

20mm silk dome

Silk rather than metal, so the top end rolls off gently instead of getting hard. On an entry-tier set fed by a factory head unit and a compressed source, that is the right choice; a metal dome at this level tends to expose everything.

Component rather than coaxial

The reason to choose this over a coaxial is tweeter placement. A tweeter at ear height in a sail panel or A-pillar puts the stage on the dash instead of in the door. If your tweeter is going into the door anyway, buy a coaxial and save the install time.

Who This Suits

Buy these if

  • You have somewhere to mount a tweeter at ear height.
  • Your locations are standard 6.5 inch and depth is not tight.
  • You want a straightforward entry-tier front stage upgrade.
  • You accept a final sale on a discontinued product with no warranty path.

Look elsewhere if

  • You need published specifications to plan an amplifier or crossover.
  • Your doors are shallow and depth is unknown territory you cannot risk.
  • You want a one-hole coaxial install.
  • You want warranty coverage or the option to return.

Installation

  • Test-fit the woofer dry, window up and window down, before wiring. Depth is not published, so measure rather than assume.
  • Mount the crossovers somewhere dry and secured.
  • Amplifier or head unit into the crossover input, crossover outputs to woofer and tweeter. Never feed the tweeter directly.
  • Aim the tweeters across the cabin rather than at the near listener.
  • Seal the inner door skin. It costs nothing and it is the largest single improvement available on any door install.

Condition and sale terms

Closeout stock from a discontinued Ground Zero line. Sold as a final sale with no returns, no exchanges and no manufacturer warranty. Packaging may show shelf wear from storage. Power handling, sensitivity, impedance, frequency response, mounting dimensions and crossover point are not published by the manufacturer for this model and are not stated here. Once remaining stock is gone this listing will be removed.
