What You Are Buying
A complete subwoofer system: a 6 inch dual 2 Ohm driver already mounted in a ported MDF enclosure finished in black carpet. Nothing to cut, nothing to calculate. Wire an amplifier to it and it plays.
We build enclosures here on ShopSabre routers, so we will be straight with you about what this is. It is an imported turnkey box from Feelart in Vietnam, sold at closeout because we are not restocking it. What it does well is solve a space problem cheaply.
Read this before you buy

What Feelart Publishes, and What They Do Not
This matters more on a loaded enclosure than on a bare driver, so here it is plainly.

We are not going to estimate those numbers for you and print them as if they were measured. If you need the outside dimensions before you commit, tell us the space you are working with and we will measure a box off the shelf. That is a two minute job on our end.
Dual 2 Ohm Wiring
Two 2 Ohm coils give you two final loads, and the choice is yours:
- Parallel puts both coils across the same terminals. Final load 1 Ohm. This is where a modern mono Class D amplifier makes its rated power.
- Series runs the coils end to end. Final load 4 Ohm. This is what you want if you are feeding it from a bridged channel of a multi-channel amplifier or an older amplifier that is not 1 Ohm stable.
Check your amplifier's rated stable impedance before you wire it. An amplifier that is 2 Ohm stable will go into protection or cook itself on a 1 Ohm load. That is not a defect, it is a wiring mistake.
Amplifier sizing
The driver is rated 250W RMS. Anything in the 150 to 250W RMS range at your chosen impedance is sensible. More amplifier than that is not a problem in itself, but the gain has to be set properly, and on a ported box you also need the subsonic filter engaged.
One pairing we can actually stand behind, because both sit on the same clearance shelf: the Rainbow Dream 0.5K makes 170W into 4 Ohms. Wire this box's coils in series for a 4 Ohm load and you get 170W against a 250W rating, with headroom left over and no way to hurt the driver by accident.
Ported, and What That Costs You
A ported box gets more output near tuning than a sealed box of the same size, and it unloads the cone at those frequencies so the driver moves less for the same volume. That is the upside and it is real.
The downside is that below tuning the port stops working and the cone is left unloaded, so excursion climbs fast on content the box was never meant to reproduce. Every ported enclosure needs a subsonic filter for that reason. Because Feelart does not publish the tuning frequency, set the filter conservatively at 30Hz and listen. If you hear the driver making mechanical noise on deep content, raise it.
Do not block the port. Cargo pushed against it, a floor mat over it, or the box shoved tight against a seat back all detune the enclosure and force the driver into exactly the excursion the port was there to prevent.
Who This Suits
Buy this if
- You have a small space and want real low end out of it.
- You want one box, one amplifier, and no fabrication.
- You are keeping cargo room and will not give up a trunk.
- You accept a final sale with no warranty path.
Look elsewhere if
- You want output. A 6 inch driver is not going to out-play a 10 or a 12.
- You need published volume and tuning numbers to plan around.
- You want a warranty on the cabinet. Ours carry one, this does not.
- You already own a driver and just need a box built to it.
Installation
- Measure your space first, and ask us for the box dimensions if you need them before ordering.
- Mount it so it cannot move. A loose enclosure under a seat becomes a projectile in a hard stop, and it will chew the carpet either way.
- Keep the port clear of cargo, mats and upholstery.
- Engage the subsonic filter. Start at 30Hz.
- Set the low pass around 80Hz so the box is not trying to reproduce vocal range content it will only localise.
- If you are mounting under a seat, check for occupant detection sensors and airbag wiring before you drill anything.
If you outgrow it
This is a fine first bass box. When you want more, the honest upgrade is a driver you choose and a cabinet cut to its actual parameters. That is what we do on the CNC side, and we will build to whatever fits your vehicle.
