Choose Your Divini Amp Kit

Divini builds each kit around one power wire gauge and a fuse sized to protect it. Pick the gauge your amplifier needs, then decide whether you want a complete kit with signal and speaker wire or a power kit for a system where those runs are already done.

Complete Kits: 8 and 4 Gauge

The DCAK8-ANL and DCAK4-ANL include everything to install one amplifier: 17 ft of red soft touch power wire, a 3 ft ground, 17 ft shielded OFC RCA cables, 17 ft of 16 gauge speaker wire, 17 ft of 18 gauge remote wire, a heat resistant ANL fuse holder, wire loom, ring terminals and ties. The 8 gauge kit carries an 80A fuse and the 4 gauge kit a 150A fuse.

Power Kits: 1/0 Gauge Single and Dual

The DCAK0-ANL is a 1/0 gauge power kit for a single high-power amplifier, with a 250A ANL fuse. The DCAK0-2AMP powers two amplifiers from one 1/0 gauge run: a 300A main fuse, a mini ANL distribution block with two 150A fuses, 4 gauge feeds to each amplifier and a ground distribution block.

Twisted Pair RCA Cables

Divini's RCAs use the same 100% OFC copper in a twisted pair, with nickel plated tips and molded ABS connectors. The 2 channel DCR cables come in lengths from 1.5 to 20 ft, the DCR4 4 channel cables in 3, 12 and 20 ft, and the DCRY Y-adapters split one signal to two or combine two into one.

Why 100% OFC Copper

A lot of amp kits sold by gauge are copper clad aluminum (CCA): aluminum wire with a thin copper skin. Aluminum has higher resistance than copper, so a CCA cable drops more voltage and runs hotter at the same current, and in practice it behaves like a smaller gauge. Every conductor in a Divini kit is 100% oxygen-free copper, including the RCA cables, speaker wire and remote wire, so the gauge on the package is the gauge your amplifier actually gets.

Install It Right

Mount the fuse within 18 inches of the battery positive terminal, run power down one side of the vehicle and RCAs down the other, and keep the ground short and bolted to clean, bare chassis metal. Need an amplifier to go with it? Start with our car amplifiers or monoblock amplifiers.

Divini Amp Kit Questions

What gauge amp kit do I need?

Match the kit to your amplifier's power and current draw. As a rule of thumb, the 8 gauge DCAK8-ANL suits amplifiers up to about 500 watts RMS, the 4 gauge DCAK4-ANL up to about 1,000 watts RMS, and the 1/0 gauge DCAK0-ANL above that. Long runs or amplifiers with large fuse ratings push you up a size.

Are Divini amp kits real copper?

Yes. Every conductor in every Divini kit is 100% oxygen-free copper (OFC), not copper clad aluminum. Copper has lower resistance than aluminum, so an OFC cable carries the current its gauge is rated for with less voltage drop and heat.

Which Divini kits include RCA cables and speaker wire?

The DCAK4-ANL and DCAK8-ANL are complete kits with 17 ft shielded OFC RCA cables, 16 gauge speaker wire and 18 gauge remote wire. The 1/0 gauge DCAK0-ANL and DCAK0-2AMP are power kits: power, ground, remote and fusing, without RCAs or speaker wire.

Can I power two amplifiers from one kit?

Yes, with the DCAK0-2AMP. One 1/0 gauge run from the battery, protected by a 300A ANL fuse, feeds a mini ANL distribution block with two 150A fused 4 gauge outputs, one per amplifier, and a ground distribution block ties both grounds together.
