JL Audio Subwoofers We Carry

We stock a hand-picked pair of JL Audio drivers rather than the whole JL catalog, both from the TW3 shallow-mount line: the 10TW3-D4 and the 12TW3-D4. Each is rated 400 watts RMS with 15.2 mm of one-way Xmax, dual 4 ohm, built on JL's Thin-Line motor so it fits where a conventional woofer cannot.

The 10TW3-D4 needs 3.25 inches of mounting depth and a 9-5/8 inch cutout, and JL recommends 0.50 cubic feet sealed as optimum. The 12TW3-D4 needs 3.50 inches and an 11-5/8 inch cutout, with 0.80 cubic feet sealed as optimum. Both wire to 2 ohms in parallel or 8 in series.

Behind a truck seat, under a rear seat, or in a thin floor box. The 10TW3-D4 is the driver in most of our truck builds for exactly that reason.

Every Proline X cabinet on this page is cut for one JL model, not a nominal size, with the cutout and mounting depth cut direct fit. Match the model on the product page to the model on your woofer's label.

From TW1 to W6v3

For the TW3 we build sealed and ported cabinets in wedge and down fire, single and dual, plus Micro Series boxes. For the full-depth JL lines we build Performance Optimized wedges and down fire cabinets for the W0v3, W1v3, W3v3 and W6v3 from 8 to 13 inch, the TW1 slim 10 and 12, and the 13TW5v2. Sealed and ported options run through most of the range.

Loaded Truck and Micro Builds

Several cabinets ship with the 10TW3-D4 already mounted and wired, including behind-seat builds for the Ford F-150 and F-250 in 2015 to 2023 and 2024 and newer, a Toyota Tacoma direct fit and a Micro Series sealed system. Which JL Audio subwoofers do you sell?

We carry a select few JL Audio drivers rather than the whole catalog. Right now that is the TW3 shallow-mount 10TW3-D4 and 12TW3-D4, both dual 4 ohm and 400 watts RMS. Any JL driver we add will appear on this page.

Do you build enclosures for other JL Audio subwoofers?

Yes. We cut Proline X enclosures for JL Audio TW3, TW1, W0v3, W1v3, W3v3, W6v3 and 13TW5v2 drivers from 8 to 13 inch, sealed and ported, in wedge, down fire and standard shapes. Each cabinet is sized for one specific model. The full set is in our JL Audio subwoofer box collection.

Which enclosures fit the 10TW3-D4 and 12TW3-D4?

For the 10TW3-D4, our sealed wedge, down fire sealed and ported wedge, among others. For the 12TW3-D4, our sealed wedge, down fire sealed and Micro Series sealed 12. Each driver page lists its cabinets in the Enclosures tab.

Can I buy an enclosure with the JL driver already installed?

Yes, for the 10TW3-D4. Our Ford F-150 and F-250 behind-seat builds, the Toyota Tacoma direct fit and the Micro Series sealed 10 system ship with it mounted and wired. Our other enclosures ship empty, and the drivers are listed separately.

Sealed or ported for a JL Audio subwoofer?

Sealed gives the smaller cabinet and tighter, more accurate bass, and it is usually the only option under a truck seat. Ported gives more output and deeper extension when you have the space. Each of our enclosure pages states the alignment it was cut to, and JL's own recommendations are on each driver page.
