US Acoustics is the value end of high output. Two lines run under one name: Class D monoblocks from 1500W up to 8000W RMS at 1 ohm for the bass, and a Class AB multichannel line from a 2-channel up to a real six-channel for the front stage. The models are named after people, the ratings are honest, and the power-per-dollar is the reason we reach for it.
This is the brand we point people to when a boutique amp is more than the build needs. A four-channel of Class AB here costs less than the shipping on a reference amp, and it still does the job right. Everything carries a two-year warranty.
Every new US Acoustics amp we stock, with power and dimensions verified against the manufacturer. The Class D monoblocks are rated at 1 ohm, where an SPL amp is meant to live; the Class AB multichannel amps are rated per channel at 4 ohm.
| Model | Channels | Class | Power (RMS) | Dimensions L×W×H (in) | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lisa | 4-channel | AB | 4 × 50W @ 4Ω | 12.4 × 8.9 × 2.2 | $159.99 |
| Wendy | 2-channel | AB | 2 × 75W @ 4Ω | 7.5 × 8.9 × 2.2 | $159.99 |
| Andrea | 2-channel | AB | 2 × 150W @ 4Ω | 16.4 × 8.9 × 2.2 | $289.99 |
| Mike | Monoblock | D | 1500W @ 1Ω | 14.1 × 8.9 × 2.2 | $329.99 |
| Barbara Ann | 4-channel | AB | 4 × 100W @ 4Ω | 17.7 × 8.9 × 2.2 | $399.99 |
| Big Ben | Monoblock | D | 3500W @ 1Ω | 24.6 × 8.4 × 2.2 | $599.99 |
| Lanna | 6-channel | AB | 6 × 150W @ 4Ω | 25.5 × 8.9 × 2.2 | $695.00 |
| Tony | Monoblock | D | 6000W @ 1Ω | 27.75 × 8.7 × 2.72 | $999.99 |
| Phil | Monoblock | D | 8000W @ 1Ω | 32.75 × 8.9 × 2.72 | $1,249.99 |
The monoblocks step in even doublings, 1500W to 8000W at 1 ohm, so you buy the one that matches your sub rather than the biggest number. Big Ben, Tony and Phil are currently marked down from $899.99, $1,399.99 and $1,699.99. Every model also publishes its 4, 2 and 1 ohm figures on its product page.
Four monoblocks, rated at 1 ohm where a subwoofer amp does its work. Mike (1500W) suits a single sub, Big Ben (3500W) a pair or a big single, and Tony (6000W) and Phil (8000W) are for dedicated SPL builds with the alternator and battery to feed them. All four run big terminals and heavy fusing. See the wider field in monoblock amplifiers and Class D amplifiers.
Five amps for the speakers, all Class AB with the bias-current linearity a front stage rewards. Wendy (2 x 75W) and Andrea (2 x 150W) are dedicated 2-channels; Lisa (4 x 50W) and Barbara Ann (4 x 100W) cover front and rear or a bridged sub; and Lanna (6 x 150W) is a genuine six-channel for an active three-way at a price the architecture rarely comes at. See Class AB amplifiers, 2-channel, 4-channel and the 5, 6 and 8 channel pages.
Match the amp to what it drives, not to the biggest number. The drivers are in car subwoofers and component sets, the crossover work belongs to a DSP on an active build, and gain is what protects all of it: how we set amplifier gain. The full range is in the amplifier lineup.
Honest high output at a value price. Two lines carry the brand: Class D monoblocks from 1500W to 8000W RMS at 1 ohm for subwoofer duty, and a Class AB multichannel line from a 2-channel up to a six-channel for the front stage. The power-per-dollar is the point, and everything carries a two-year warranty.
Yes. The headline wattage on Mike (1500W), Big Ben (3500W), Tony (6000W) and Phil (8000W) is RMS at 1 ohm, which is where an SPL monoblock is built to run. Each also publishes its 4, 2 and 1 ohm figures, and the drops are roughly by half at each doubling of impedance. Wire the subwoofer to 1 ohm to get the rated power.
One of the Class D monoblocks, matched to the driver. Mike (1500W) for a single sub, Big Ben (3500W) for a pair or a large single, and Tony (6000W) or Phil (8000W) for dedicated SPL builds with the electrical system to feed them. Match the amp's RMS at your wired impedance to the sub's RMS rating.
One of the Class AB multichannel amps. Wendy (2 x 75W) or Andrea (2 x 150W) for a dedicated front pair, Lisa (4 x 50W) or Barbara Ann (4 x 100W) for front and rear or a bridged sub, and Lanna (6 x 150W) for a full active three-way. Class AB is the topology a front stage rewards.
Yes, all five. Wendy, Andrea, Lisa, Barbara Ann and Lanna are Class AB, using bias current to eliminate crossover distortion for smoother full-range reproduction than Class D. That is why they are the front-stage line and the monoblocks are the bass line.
Yes. Every US Acoustics amplifier is brand new, sold by an authorized dealer, and carries the full two-year manufacturer warranty. We handle warranty claims directly with the brand.
Match the amplifier's RMS output at your wired impedance to the RMS rating of the driver, ideally 100% to 150% of it for a subwoofer and 75% to 150% per channel for speakers. Underpowering and clipping is what kills drivers, not clean power. Send us the specs and we will confirm the match.
