The total-package amplifier. Eight channels of power, matrix summing, onboard crossovers, and Wavtech's patent-pending autoBASS circuit in a single chassis that runs an entire system without compromise.
The link1400.8plus is built to power a complete system from a single chassis. It starts with eight channels of input, so a full 4-way active front stage is possible without stacking amplifiers or running an outboard processor. Each channel carries 100 watts RMS at 4 ohms and 175 watts RMS at 2 ohms, and any two main channels bridge to 350 watts RMS at 4 ohms BTL for subwoofer duty.
Wavtech introduces matrix summing for the first time in a non-DSP amplifier on this platform. Any input can be assigned to any output, which gives total control over how factory signals are combined and routed before they ever reach an output stage. That flexibility is what lets one amplifier replace a rack of components.
Factory systems roll bass off early to protect undersized OEM speakers. The link1400.8plus is the first amplifier to carry Wavtech's patent-pending autoBASS circuit, which corrects that roll-off and restores the low-frequency content the factory head unit removed. You get real low end back without guessing at EQ settings.
For dedicated low-frequency channels, the bassFREQ processor runs on channels 5/6, 7/8, or all four combined. It pairs a variable low-pass crossover at 24dB per octave with a variable subsonic filter at 24dB per octave and an adjustable parametric EQ, so a subwoofer stage can be dialed in tightly and protected from over-excursion. The channel 7/8 RCA input can also convert to a 10V RCA output, feeding a larger subwoofer amplifier while still passing through the bassFREQ preamp.
Every channel also carries a variable high-pass, low-pass, or band-pass crossover at 12dB per octave, so the front stage, midbass, and rear fill can each be filtered independently right on the amplifier.
The link1400.8plus is engineered to drop into modern factory systems cleanly. Adaptive OEM Load Technology and 40V input capability let it accept high-level signal directly from demanding factory amplifiers, while differential balanced inputs reject the noise that plagues OEM integration. Auto turn-on works through DC-offset or audio signal detection, so no remote wire is required when one is not available.
It is Start/Stop system compatible and EV Ready, holding stable through the voltage swings of modern and electric vehicles. Variable gain with a clip LED makes level matching straightforward, and the optional linkRC remote level control adjusts channels 5/6, 7/8, or all four from the front of the vehicle.
Eight inputs and eight outputs enable a complete 4-way active front stage from a single amplifier, with no outboard processor required.
A first in a non-DSP amplifier. Assign any input to any output for total flexibility over how factory signals are summed and routed.
Patent-pending circuit that restores the bass roll-off built into factory head units, giving back real low-end output.
24dB low-pass crossover, 24dB subsonic filter, and parametric EQ on channels 5/6, 7/8, or combined for a tuned subwoofer stage.
Accepts high-level signal from demanding factory amplifiers with differential balanced inputs that reject OEM system noise.
Holds rated output under sustained load inside a compact aluminum chassis with locking hi-level terminals and 4-gauge power and ground.
Power, processing, and factory integration in one chassis measuring just 13.11 by 6.5 by 1.65 inches. The link1400.8plus runs the whole system and leaves room to grow.
