Arc Audio A12 Subwoofer
Arc's A-Series shallow-mount 12, and the biggest hitter in the family: 300 watts RMS from just 3.85 inches of mounting depth, with about 45 percent more cone area than the A10 for roughly 3 dB more low-frequency output. A heat-pressed poly-injected pulp cone, Totoku copper voice coil on a Nomex former, a progressive Nomex-blend spider, and a stamped steel basket that holds up face-up, face-down, or at any angle.
Pick your coil by your amplifier. D2 wires to 1 or 4 ohms for 1-ohm monoblocks, D4 wires to 2 or 8 ohms. Arc rates it sealed, in a 0.85 to 1.25 cubic foot range, and this bundle ships the published 1.0 optimum.
