Match the Box to the Truck
F-150 2015 to 2023 and F-250 Super Duty 2017 to 2023
One platform covers both trucks, SuperCrew and SuperCab. The box sits behind the passenger-side rear seat and takes a shallow-mount 10 with no more than 3.75 inches of mounting depth, sealed at 0.5 cubic feet. The 12 inch version holds 0.60 and ships loaded with the Wavtech thinPRO12. The dual 10 runs 1.0 cubic feet and asks for more work: the jack and the satellite module are relocated, the factory rear panel is trimmed, and a factory subwoofer, if the truck has one, comes out. The PR Edition adds a rear-firing 12 inch passive radiator tuned to 34 Hz for more bottom end from the same space. F-150, F-250 and F-350, 2024 to 2026
Ford moved the factory amplifier and subwoofer on the 2024 body, so this truck has its own box: 45 inches wide, 14.25 tall and 3.75 deep, sealed at 0.6 cubic feet for a 10 inch driver with up to 3.5 inches of mounting depth. A block-off plate for the factory subwoofer location is included, and the box bolts in without permanent modification. The same box fits the 2024 to 2026 F-250 and F-350 Super Duty.
Bronco 2021 to 2025
The sixth-generation Bronco, two-door or four-door, gets a dual 12 inch down-firing sealed box for the cargo area: 41 inches wide, 15 deep and 8.5 tall, 2.05 cubic feet, for 12s with up to 8 inches of mounting depth and an 11.25 inch cutout. It stands on its feet without using factory mounting points, fires into the floor, and leaves a flat top you can load gear on. See the Ford Bronco subwoofer box.
Maverick
The Maverick box is a sealed single 10 at 0.6 cubic feet that drops in on the driver side with no seat modification, and a passive-radiator version adds low-frequency extension from the same footprint. The Ford Maverick subwoofer enclosures page shows current availability.
Bare Box or Loaded
A bare box is for the subwoofer you already own or plan to buy. The behind-seat boxes need a true shallow-mount driver, which is why the shallow mount subwoofers page is the place to choose one: measure the driver's published mounting depth against the box before anything else.
The loaded versions arrive with the driver installed and wired to the terminal cup. Depending on the truck and the year that means the JL Audio 10TW3, the Wavtech thinPRO12, the Alpine RS-W10D4 or the Kicker CompRT 10. We do not sell Kicker subwoofers on their own; these cabinets are the exception. The loaded F-150 boxes for 2015 to 2023 and the loaded F-150 boxes for 2024 to 2026 group them by platform.
How the Ford Boxes Are Built
A square-cornered box cannot follow the contour behind a rear seat, so these are stack-fabricated: Langboard Elite MDF layers cut to the shape of the space on our ShopSabre routers and pinned with dowels, with no corner joint for the contour to fight. Each cabinet is pre-wired in 12-gauge OFC to a Proline X terminal cup, and the sealed boxes ship with polyfill installed. All of it is part of the Vehicle Specific Series, which carries a two-year limited warranty from the date of purchase.
