Transform Your Audio Experience with Class A Precision
The Tru Technology 2ch Class A Line Amp Conditioner delivers three-dimensional imaging that breathes life back into your music with lifelike textures and detail, representing the pinnacle of automotive audio enhancement. This premium line amplifier conditioner addresses the critical need for clean, undistorted signal voltage in high-performance car audio systems, where many aftermarket source units fail to produce adequate signal levels.
Superior Signal Conditioning Technology
High performance car audio amplifiers require plenty of clean undistorted signal voltage in order to achieve maximum performance. The Tru Technology 2ch Class A Line Amp Conditioner solves this fundamental challenge by boosting weak signals to optimal levels while maintaining exceptional fidelity. With the use of highest quality parts and components, the fully discrete Class A Line-Amp Conditioner is simply the best line driver available.
Hand-Crafted Excellence
Each unit represents true American craftsmanship, being 100% Hand built in house in California using premium components. The discrete Class A topology ensures consistent performance without the switching distortion found in other amplifier classes, delivering the expansive soundstage and convincing sense of space that discerning audiophiles demand.
Professional-Grade Performance
This line amplifier conditioner transforms your audio system by allowing amplifier gain controls to operate at lower settings, reducing background noise and improving dynamic range. The result is enhanced signal-to-noise ratios, reduced distortion, and the ability to drive multiple amplifiers without signal degradation.
The heart of this line amplifier conditioner lies in its pure Class A design, where the fully discrete Class A circuitry provides resolution and ultra-low distortion for the audiophile who demands the very finest in audio reproduction. Unlike Class AB or Class D designs, which switch transistors on and off, Class A operation maintains a constant current flow, eliminating crossover distortion and switching artifacts that compromise audio quality.
Signal Voltage Optimization Solution
Modern source units often struggle to provide adequate signal voltage, with many premium units barely achieving their rated 4V output. This line amplifier conditioner addresses this limitation by providing a 4.5:1 gain ratio, transforming weak 1V signals into robust 4.5V outputs. This enhancement enables your amplifiers to operate with lower gain settings, significantly reducing the noise floor and enhancing the dynamic range.
Audiophile-Grade Component Selection
Every component within the Tru Technology 2ch Class A Line Amp Conditioner is carefully selected for maximum performance. The discrete design eliminates integrated circuits in favor of individual transistors and components, ensuring optimal signal path integrity. Extraordinary attention to the power supply design achieves the absolute in dynamics, while optimized signal paths and grounding planes deliver unprecedented signal-to-noise ratios.
Multi-Amplifier System Enhancement
When connecting multiple amplifiers to a single source, signal degradation becomes inevitable. This line amplifier conditioner prevents this issue by providing multiple clean outputs without signal loss. Each channel maintains isolation while providing identical gain characteristics, ensuring balanced performance across your entire audio system.
Professional Installation Integration
The compact form factor and straightforward connection requirements make installation seamless in any vehicle. The unit accepts standard RCA inputs and provides RCA outputs, integrating effortlessly with existing systems. The low current draw and efficient design minimize impact on vehicle electrical systems while providing maximum audio enhancement.
What makes the Tru Technology 2ch Class A Line Amp Conditioner different from other line drivers?
This unit employs pure Class A discrete circuitry rather than integrated circuits or Class AB designs. The fully discrete design provides superior signal purity and eliminates switching distortion. Each unit is hand-built in California using premium components, ensuring consistent performance and exceptional build quality that mass-produced alternatives cannot match.
Will this line amplifier conditioner work with my existing car audio system?
Yes, the unit accepts any source with RCA outputs and voltage levels between 0.001v to 9.2v. It's compatible with aftermarket head units, processors, and factory systems with line outputs. The 4.5:1 gain ratio makes it particularly beneficial for systems where amplifiers require higher input voltage than the source unit provides.
How does this improve sound quality in my car audio system?
By boosting the signal voltage, you can reduce amplifier gain settings, which in turn decreases the noise floor and improves the signal-to-noise ratio. The Class A design eliminates crossover distortion present in other topologies. Additionally, the enhanced signal strength maintains audio quality when driving multiple amplifiers or using long cable runs.
What power requirements does the LINE-2CA have?
The unit requires a 9.5-15VDC input voltage with a 1-amp fuse requirement. It draws minimal current and features a regulated power supply circuit for consistent performance. The low power consumption makes it suitable for any vehicle electrical system without causing drain issues.
Can I use this with factory amplified systems?
While primarily designed for aftermarket systems, it can work with factory systems that provide line-level outputs. However, you'll need to verify your factory system has RCA outputs or use a line output converter first. The unit performs optimally when positioned between source units and aftermarket amplifiers.
How do I set the proper gain levels with this line amplifier?
Start with your amplifier gains at minimum, then gradually increase the source volume to normal listening levels. The 4.5:1 gain ratio means you'll likely use lower amplifier gain settings than before. Use an oscilloscope or distortion meter for precise tuning, or consult a professional installer for optimal calibration.
What installation considerations should I be aware of?
Mount the unit away from heat sources and ensure adequate ventilation. Keep input and output cables separated to prevent interference. Use high-quality RCA cables for connections, and ensure solid ground connections. The compact size allows flexible mounting locations within the vehicle.
