The One-Amplifier Active System

The US Acoustics Lanna delivers 150 watts RMS per channel into 4 ohms across all six channels, 250 watts per channel into 2 ohms, and 500 watts per bridged pair into 4 ohms. That is enough channel count and enough power to run a full active 3-way front stage, tweeters, midranges, and midbass, from one amplifier, with every driver getting real Class AB power instead of leftover channels.

US Acoustics builds the Lanna on the same Full Complementary Class AB philosophy it has refined for over 25 years, here with high-end op amps in the signal path. The measurements hold up across all six channels: total harmonic distortion below 0.01 percent, signal-to-noise ratio above 103 dB, channel separation above 92 dB, and a damping factor greater than 200 at 100 Hz into 4 ohms.

Direct Input, No Crossover, On Purpose

The Lanna has no onboard crossover. That is not a missing feature, it is the design. In a modern sound quality build, crossover points, slopes, time alignment, and EQ all live in the DSP, where they belong. Analog filters in the amplifier would only add components to the signal path that the processor makes redundant. The Lanna takes the signal straight in, amplifies it, and stays out of the way. This is exactly how we pair it: six channels of Goldhorn DSP output feeding six channels of clean Class AB power.

Discrete Gain Control for Every Channel

Each of the six channels has its own gain control. In an active system that means level matching tweeters, midranges, and midbass independently at the amplifier, setting sensible structure before the DSP does its fine work. Input sensitivity ranges from 200 mV to 6.0 volts, so the Lanna accepts everything from modest head unit outputs to high-voltage processor outputs.

Configuration Flexibility

Active 3-Way Front Stage

The signature application. Channels 1 and 2 on tweeters, 3 and 4 on midranges, 5 and 6 on midbass, with the DSP handling all frequency division. One power run, one ground, one mounting footprint for the entire front stage.

2-Way Active Plus Subwoofer

Four channels on a component front stage run active, with channels 5 and 6 bridged to deliver 500 watts into a single 4-ohm subwoofer. A complete system from one chassis.

Bridged Power Where You Need It

Each channel pair bridges to 500 watts at 4 ohms, up to three bridged channels. That opens the door to high-power midbass duty or multi-woofer configurations while keeping the rest of the channels in stereo.
