The Proline X Micro Series is a line of sealed subwoofer enclosures built around a compact external footprint. They are designed for vehicle installs where depth or width clearance is restricted. Available in 10-inch and 12-inch driver sizes, in single and dual woofer configurations, they cover a range of output targets within a smaller cabinet envelope. This series sits within the Proline X lineup as a space-specific solution, not an entry-level compromise.
These are sealed enclosures, meaning the driver operates in a fully enclosed air volume with no port or passive radiator. Sealed boxes deliver tighter transient response and more predictable low-frequency rolloff compared to ported designs. Each enclosure is loaded with polyfill, which increases the effective acoustic volume and allows the box to perform closer to a larger sealed cabinet. This makes the Micro Series viable in applications where the physical size would otherwise restrict bass performance.
The cabinet walls are built using Stack Fab construction — layers of MDF bonded together under pressure to form a single dense panel. This method produces a rigid structure that resists flexing under high excursion and sustained power. The result is a box that maintains its tuned volume without panel vibration introducing coloration into the output. Stack Fab is used across the Proline X lineup where structural consistency is a priority.
The double mounting face accepts both 10-inch and 12-inch drivers, and the woofer recess keeps the driver sitting flush with the baffle surface. Mounting uses 8/32 machine screws into pre-installed threaded inserts, which are included with the enclosure. This eliminates the need for wood screws and allows the driver to be removed and reinstalled without degrading the mounting points. The recessed mount also provides a degree of physical protection to the driver surround during handling and install.
Each enclosure uses the Proline X Advanced Terminal Cup, built in-house from ABS and carbon fiber with stainless steel hardware. The terminal cup is prewired from the factory, so internal wiring runs are already completed at the point of install. This reduces the variables in the signal path and eliminates the need to run wire through the cabinet after assembly. The stainless steel hardware resists corrosion and holds torque consistently across temperature cycles common in vehicle environments.
Each Proline X Micro Series enclosure ships ready to install. Rubber feet are included to isolate the cabinet from cargo floor contact and reduce transmitted vibration. Polyfill is pre-loaded, prewiring is complete, and threaded inserts are already installed in the baffle. The only steps required at install are mounting the driver, connecting the terminal cup, and securing the box. This level of preparation is consistent with how Audio Intensity approaches the Proline X line across all series.
