Two Isolated Chambers, Both on Butterworth
Two fully isolated chambers of 0.82 cubic feet gross each, one driver per chamber, sharing a common cabinet and one terminal cup. Each driver sees exactly the airspace it was solved for, and neither can modulate the other through a shared volume.
0.82 cu ft gross per chamber, in the middle of Kicker's published 0.66 to 1.00 cu ft sealed window, and roughly 0.72 cu ft net once the driver is in. The dual 2-ohm 45L7R102 lands at Qtc 0.705 and the dual 4-ohm 45L7R104 at Qtc 0.710. Both sit on the 0.707 Butterworth point, the maximally flat sealed alignment, from one cabinet.
Why Two Chambers Instead of One
A shared volume lets each cone's back pressure act on the other, so any mismatch in the pair, from build tolerance, break-in, or a failing driver, gets shared across both. Isolated chambers keep each driver honest.
Full-Height Dado Divider
A 3/4" divider locked into dados top, bottom, front and back. It seals the two chambers and doubles as the primary brace across the 29.75" span.
20° Raked Baffle
Matches the lean of most factory seat backs and fires both L7Rs forward into the cabin instead of into the seat.
Vertical Rear Panel
Sits flush against the cab back wall or trunk bulkhead, so the full footprint of the box goes to airspace.
One Shared Terminal Cup
A single side-mounted cup feeds both chambers with 12 gauge OFC, so you make one connection instead of two.
Shallower Than the Cabinet It Replaces
The L7R 10 needs only 6-1/8" of mounting depth, so this cabinet was re-solved around the shallower driver rather than inheriting the depth our SoloX wedge needs for its 9-7/16" motor. Some of the airspace moved sideways into width, bringing the floor depth down to 14.35" while keeping the overall width at 29.75", which still fits a crew cab back wall.

Mounting Geometry
Both baffle openings are CNC-cut to 9-5/16" square (Kicker spec, shared with the SoloX 10 and L7S 10). Each chamber gives the motor well over the 6-1/8" it needs. 8/32 threaded inserts pressed into the baffle backside at both positions.
Sealed Alignment Response
Predicted anechoic response of the Solo-Baric L7R 10 in one chamber, computed from Kicker's published Klippel T/S parameters. This enclosure ships without drivers, so both coil variants are plotted. Note how tightly the two traces track each other, and how flat both run down to the knee.

Excursion Headroom You Cannot Run Out Of
Each L7R 10 is rated at 500 watts RMS, about 1000 for the pair. In this airspace it takes roughly 1394 watts per driver to reach the 16.75 mm linear limit, and about 1814 watts behind a 25 Hz subsonic filter. Thermal rating runs out at well under half that, so you cannot mechanically over-drive this combination on the power Kicker rates it for.

Langboard Elite MDF
Premium 3/4" MDF panels milled to documented spec.
V-Groove and Dado Joinery
CNC-cut V-grooves at every panel intersection. Dado joints lock the raked baffle, vertical rear panel, and center divider into the side walls.
Double-Layer 1.5" Front Baffle
Two bonded 3/4" MDF sheets plus a trim layer across both driver positions. The square L7R frame loads its flange hard at the corners; this baffle does not flex.
Pre-Wired Terminal Cup
One Proline X ABS/carbon-fiber composite terminal cup, side-mounted, 12 gauge OFC pre-wired to both chambers.

Wiring a Pair of Solo-Baric L7R 10s
Kicker rates each L7R 10 at 500 watts RMS, so a matched pair wants roughly 1000 watts RMS total. Run matching coil versions in both chambers. A pair of dual 2-ohm drivers gives you 0.5, 2, or 8 ohm system options; a pair of dual 4-ohm gives 1, 4, or 16. Because both versions land on Butterworth, choose purely on amplifier match.

Built From a Spec Sheet, Not a Sales Sheet
Every Proline X Performance Series enclosure is CNC-cut from Langboard Elite MDF, 3/4" (18mm) panels produced to published mill specifications. Most enclosure manufacturers source generic MDF without published data. We can tell you the internal bond rating, the modulus of elasticity, the modulus of rupture, and the face and edge screw holding strength for every panel in this enclosure, because we chose the material based on those numbers, not on price or availability.
Langboard Elite is produced in the United States. The specifications below are pulled directly from Langboard's published mill data and are verifiable. This is the same panel stock used in our full Proline X lineup.

200 psi: The Number That Actually Matters for Enclosures
The internal bond rating measures how well the MDF panel resists delamination under sustained pressure applied perpendicular to the face. In a subwoofer enclosure, every bass transient generates a pressure pulse that pushes outward on every panel simultaneously. A panel that begins to delaminate internally loses stiffness gradually. The symptoms are slow: a box that starts to sound softer, less defined, less punchy over months of use. 200 psi internal bond is the spec that determines how long this enclosure holds its acoustic integrity under daily use at real power levels.
410,000 psi MOE: Less Flex, Less Resonance
The modulus of elasticity measures panel stiffness, its resistance to bending under load. A stiffer panel flexes less under the pressure generated by a high-excursion driver at volume. Panel flex is a source of acoustic coloration: the panel itself begins to radiate sound at its own resonant frequency, adding distortion to the output. 410,000 psi stiffness combined with V-groove and dado joinery means the panels stay rigid and the bracing controls resonance at the structure level, not the panel level. The bass you hear comes from the driver, not the box.
325 lb Face / 250 lb Edge: Joints That Stay Locked
Screw holding strength determines how firmly the panel grips a fastener at the face and at the edge. This matters most at the baffle joint, where the front panel meets the side panels and where the driver is mounted. A panel with low screw holding strength allows fasteners to loosen over time under vibration, leading to air gaps at the joint and loss of acoustic seal. 325 lb face screw holding strength means the baffle hardware stays put. Combined with dado joinery and adhesive, the front panel on a Proline X Performance Series enclosure is not going anywhere.
Named Panel Stock: Not "Premium MDF"
The phrase "premium MDF" or "high-density MDF" appears on marketing copy for enclosures across every price point, from $40 to $400. It is not a specification. It is a description with no defined standard. Langboard Elite is a named, sourced, mill-documented product with published data. We name it in our copy because naming it holds us accountable to the spec. You can look up Langboard Elite independently, verify the numbers on this page, and confirm you are getting what we say you are getting. That is the point.
