Performance Optimized Wedge Sealed 15" Enclosure | Memphis Audio MOJO Pro 15
One MOJO Pro 15 in a Compact Sealed Wedge
A rear-firing sealed wedge for a single Memphis Audio MOJO Pro 15, the MJP1544 or the MJP1522. It is built to the 1.5 cubic feet gross Memphis's 2024 MOJO Pro sheet gives one driver in a sealed box, which puts a 15 inch woofer in a cabinet just 20.1 inches wide.
The Baffle Ships Undrilled, With the Insert Kit
There is no published bolt circle for the MOJO Pro 15, so the cutout is machined and the screw holes are left for the driver to set. The kit in the box holds the threaded inserts, machine screws, a screw key and the drill bit: drop the woofer in, run the supplied screws to mark its own hole pattern, lift it back out, drill each mark to 13/64 inch and seat the hurricane nuts from inside the cabinet.
The MOJO Pro 15 in a Purpose-Built Sealed Wedge
Memphis gives the MOJO Pro 15 a 120 ounce magnet, a 2.5 inch coil and 0.51 inches of linear travel each way, rated at 750 watts. It comes as the MJP1544 with two 4 ohm coils or the MJP1522 with two 2 ohm coils, on the same 15.90 inch frame, 13.84 inch cutout and 7.88 inch depth, so one cabinet serves both.
With the brace in, the cabinet measures 1.50 cubic feet inside, the 1.5 cubic feet gross of Memphis's 2024 sheet. The woofer's own 0.29 cubic feet comes out of that, leaving 1.21 cubic feet net.
Small Box, High Q, Real Punch
A Qts of 0.650 in 1.21 cubic feet makes a system Qtc of 1.20. The response lifts 2.4 dB around 71 Hz before rolling off, with half power at 42.4 Hz. Growing the cabinet to 2.00 cubic feet net would only take Qtc to 1.02 and F3 to 38.2 Hz, so the compact box gives up less than it looks.
Trunk-Load Wedge Design Explained
Leans Where the Seat Leans
A 20 degree back panel follows the rake of a rear seat, so the box is 15.29 inches deep on the floor and 8.74 at the top and leaves no dead wedge of air behind it.
Upright Baffle Toward the Lid
The woofer mounts on the upright face that looks at the trunk lid and plays rearward into the trunk, rather than into the seat back.
The Trunk Does the Loading
Output fills the trunk first and reaches the cabin through the seat and the rear deck, which takes the edge off localization and adds weight to the low end.
About as Small as a 15 Gets
At 20.1 by 18 inches it is about four inches wider than the woofer's own frame, and the shallow top lets the lid close over it.
Engineered for the Memphis Audio MOJO Pro 15
In 1.21 cubic feet net the MOJO Pro 15 settles at a system Qtc of 1.20, resonance 57.7 Hz, and its half power point falls at 42.4 Hz anechoic. Expect a forward, punchy upper bass from the 2.4 dB lift, with the car's own gain carrying it below 40 Hz.
Alignment Numbers
Qtc 1.202, fc 57.7 Hz, F3 42.4 Hz anechoic. Worked from the MJP1544 column of Memphis's MOJO Pro sheet: Fs 31.2 Hz, Qts 0.650, Vas 2.93 cubic feet.
Mounting Geometry
The 1.5 inch double baffle stands vertical with a 13.84 inch cutout and a flush recess for the 15.90 inch frame. The 7.88 inch deep motor clears the raked back panel by 0.75 inches where the taper is tightest, the minimum we cut to, and a windowed C brace ties the top, back and bottom together behind it.
Performance Series Construction, Driver-Specific Tuning
Langboard Elite MDF
3/4 inch Langboard Elite for every panel, machined in house.
Folded, Not Butted
Top, back, bottom and baffle are one V-grooved strip folded at 90, 70 and 110 degrees, with both sides dropped into 1/4 inch dados.
Windowed C Brace
A 3/4 inch C brace stiffens the long panels without taking more than a few cubic inches of the airspace.
Side Terminal Cup
One Proline X ABS and carbon fiber cup on the side, pre-wired in 12 gauge OFC to the driver position.

Acrylic Insert Color. The black acrylic baffle insert comes standard. Pick None at checkout to leave it off and save $20. The carpet is plush black on both.
Wiring the MOJO Pro 15 to Your Amplifier
MJP1544: two 4 ohm coils, 8 ohms wired in series or 2 ohms in parallel. MJP1522: two 2 ohm coils, 4 ohms in series or 1 ohm in parallel.
1 ohm is not for every amplifier. An MJP1522 in parallel presents 1 ohm, which many amplifiers will not hold. Wire it in series for 4 ohms unless the amplifier is rated 1 ohm stable.
The rating is 750 watts RMS, so 525 to 750 watts at the wired impedance is the working range. The air in a box this small stiffens the suspension so much that the cone would need 949 watts to reach its 0.51 inch Xmax. The coil's thermal rating is the ceiling here.
Fitment
Outside, the wedge is 20.1 inches wide and 18 inches tall, 15.29 inches deep at the base and 8.74 inches at the top. The upright baffle faces the trunk lid; the sloped back rests on the seat.
Check two numbers. The 15.29 inch base depth has to fit the trunk floor ahead of the seat, and the 18 inch height has to pass under the lid opening. Floors are forgiving, lid openings are not.
Weight. 33 pounds empty. Strap it to proper anchors once the driver is in; a loose 15 inch cabinet is a hazard under braking.
Enclosure Performance
Computed from Memphis Audio's published MJP1544 parameters, Fs 31.2 Hz, Qts 0.650, Vas 2.93 cubic feet, at net volume.
| Volume Per Driver | Qtc | fc | F3 | Character |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1.00 cu ft, smaller | 1.289 | 61.9 Hz | 44.7 Hz | 2.9 dB rise, peakier still |
| 1.21 cu ft, this enclosure | 1.202 | 57.7 Hz | 42.4 Hz | Memphis 2024 single sealed volume. 2.4 dB rise |
| 2.00 cu ft, larger | 1.021 | 49.0 Hz | 38.2 Hz | 1.4 dB rise, a much bigger cabinet |
Reading the chart. Between 1.00 and 2.00 cubic feet net, F3 moves 6.5 Hz and Qtc falls from 1.29 to 1.02. Box size changes how hard this driver kicks more than how deep it goes.
Why 1.21. Two Memphis sheets cover this driver. The 2022 MOJO Pro sheet, which the MJP1544 product page still links, gives 2.6 cubic feet gross for a single sealed box, but its whole enclosure block is identical to the ones on Memphis's M7 and MOJO 15 sheets, different drivers with different parameters. The 2024 MOJO Pro sheet changes the single sealed figure to 1.5 cubic feet gross, and that is the volume this cabinet holds.
In the car. Everything above is anechoic. Cabin gain and trunk loading raise the bottom octave in a real vehicle, so what you hear sits deeper than these curves.

Built From a Spec Sheet, Not a Sales Sheet
Every Proline X Performance Series enclosure is CNC-cut from Langboard Elite MDF, 3/4" (18mm) panels produced to published mill specifications. Most enclosure manufacturers source generic MDF without published data. We can tell you the internal bond rating, the modulus of elasticity, the modulus of rupture, and the face and edge screw holding strength for every panel in this enclosure, because we chose the material based on those numbers, not on price or availability.
Langboard Elite is produced in the United States. The specifications below are pulled directly from Langboard's published mill data and are verifiable. This is the same panel stock used in our full Proline X lineup.
Langboard Elite MDF: Published Mill Data
| Property | Value | Why It Matters |
|---|---|---|
| Panel Stock | Langboard Elite MDF | Named, verifiable panel source, not generic "high-density MDF" |
| Thickness | 3/4" (18mm) | Industry standard for subwoofer enclosures; panels below this flex under pressure |
| Density | 48.5 lbs/ft³ | Higher density = less porosity, better screw retention, reduced resonance |
| Internal Bond | 200 psi | Measures resistance to delamination under sustained internal pressure. The most enclosure-relevant spec on this sheet |
| Modulus of Rupture (MOR) | 4,200 psi | Bending strength before the panel breaks, relevant for larger unsupported baffle spans |
| Modulus of Elasticity (MOE) | 410,000 psi | Stiffness under load; higher MOE means less panel flex under bass pressure, less resonance |
| Face Screw Holding | 325 lbs | How firmly the panel surface holds a screw; critical for baffle joint integrity over time |
| Edge Screw Holding | 250 lbs | Panel edge retention, relevant for every joint that isn't face-to-face |
200 psi: The Number That Actually Matters for Enclosures
The internal bond rating measures how well the MDF panel resists delamination under sustained pressure applied perpendicular to the face. In a subwoofer enclosure, every bass transient generates a pressure pulse that pushes outward on every panel simultaneously. A panel that begins to delaminate internally loses stiffness gradually. The symptoms are slow: a box that starts to sound softer, less defined, less punchy over months of use. 200 psi internal bond is the spec that determines how long this enclosure holds its acoustic integrity under daily use at real power levels.
410,000 psi MOE: Less Flex, Less Resonance
The modulus of elasticity measures panel stiffness, its resistance to bending under load. A stiffer panel flexes less under the pressure generated by a high-excursion driver at volume. Panel flex is a source of acoustic coloration: the panel itself begins to radiate sound at its own resonant frequency, adding distortion to the output. 410,000 psi stiffness combined with V-groove and dado joinery means the panels stay rigid and the bracing controls resonance at the structure level, not the panel level. The bass you hear comes from the driver, not the box.
325 lb Face / 250 lb Edge: Joints That Stay Locked
Screw holding strength determines how firmly the panel grips a fastener at the face and at the edge. This matters most at the baffle joint, where the front panel meets the side panels and where the driver is mounted. A panel with low screw holding strength allows fasteners to loosen over time under vibration, leading to air gaps at the joint and loss of acoustic seal. 325 lb face screw holding strength means the baffle hardware stays put. Combined with dado joinery and adhesive, the front panel on a Proline X Performance Series enclosure is not going anywhere.
Named Panel Stock: Not "Premium MDF"
The phrase "premium MDF" or "high-density MDF" appears on marketing copy for enclosures across every price point, from $40 to $400. It is not a specification. It is a description with no defined standard. Langboard Elite is a named, sourced, mill-documented product with published data. We name it in our copy because naming it holds us accountable to the spec. You can look up Langboard Elite independently, verify the numbers on this page, and confirm you are getting what we say you are getting. That is the point.
Why Proline X?
Most enclosures are built to a price point. Proline X is built to a spec. Every box starts with published-data MDF, gets CNC-cut to exact internal volume, and is assembled by hand in our Tennessee facility. The difference shows up in the measurements, and in how the box holds up two years into daily use.
CNC-Cut to Spec
Panels are machine-cut on ShopSabre CNC routers and joined with V-groove and dado joinery. Consistent geometry, no hand-cut variance, no gaps at the joints.
Handcrafted in USA
Hand-assembled at our facility in Tullahoma, TN. Every enclosure is inspected before it ships.
Tuned to the Build
Internal volume and port geometry are calculated to spec and CNC-cut to exact dimensions. The box performs the same way every time.
