Two X2 1100.1 amplifiers can be connected in master/slave configuration using RCA cables between the Slave Out of the master and the Slave In of the slave, with the slave's Input Source switch set to Slave mode. The master amplifier's gain, crossover, subsonic, bass boost, and phase settings govern both units. The slave bypasses all controls except phase. The combined output is 2200 watts RMS into a 4-ohm minimum load.

The adjustable subsonic filter (10-80 Hz) is for excursion protection in ported enclosure applications. At 1100 watts, infrasonic content below the port tuning frequency produces uncontrolled cone travel that can damage the subwoofer within seconds. The subsonic filter should be set at or slightly below the enclosure tuning frequency in all ported builds. In sealed enclosures the filter is less critical but still beneficial for driver protection at high power levels.

Level 1 cosmetics, used on the Arc Audio X2 650.1, feature a black steel chassis shroud with a rotatable diamond-cut aluminum badge. Level 2 cosmetics, used on the Arc Audio X2 1100.1 and X2 2500.1, feature an extruded brushed-aluminum chassis shroud with a blue illuminated acrylic badge that lights during normal operation and flashes diagnostic fault codes when needed. The badge rotates in 90-degree increments on both levels. Level 2 cosmetics are the premium visual presentation of the X2 Series.
