Performance Series: The most accessible Proline X tier. Universal-fit construction with internal volume calculated for the typical driver in each size class. Dado and V-Groove panel construction. Sealed and ported configurations available across 6.5, 8, 10, 12, and 15 inch single, dual, and triple driver layouts. The right pick when running a mainstream driver and when you want quality construction at the most accessible price.
Performance Optimized Series: Driver-matched tuning, where internal volume and port dimensions are calculated to specific driver models using published Thiele-Small parameters. Available for Arc Audio (10 and 12 inch), JL Audio W0/W1/W3 (10 and 12 inch), Image Dynamics IDMAX (10 and 12 inch), and Ground Zero Radioactive/Iridium (10 inch). Same panel construction as Performance Series with brand-specific tuning.
Performance Wedge Series: Angled-back cabinet shape designed for trucks and hatchbacks where a rectangular box won't fit cleanly. Currently available as the P12-WS III for 12 inch drivers.
Professional Series: Competition-grade construction with double-baffle minimum, threaded inserts matched to each manufacturer's bolt pattern, polyfill, and 12 gauge OFC pre-wiring landed at the Proline X composite terminal cup. Available across 6.5, 8, 10, 12, 13, and 15 inch sizes for JL Audio W7, Image Dynamics IDMAX, Audiomobile Encore, Kicker Solo X, and owner-supplied Skar, Sundown, Digital Design, and Ground Zero drivers.
Micro Series: Compact sealed enclosures built using stack fabrication with internal dowel reinforcement, 8/32 threaded inserts, polyfill, 12g OFC prewiring, and rubber feet. Plush black carpet only. Built for shallow-mount and compact subwoofers from Wavtech (thinPRO), JL Audio (TW3), Alpine (RSW), and ResoNix (GUS, fitment-only).
Down Fire Series: Sealed enclosures with down-firing baffle orientation for cargo-bay, under-seat, and stealth installs. The driver fires downward into the vehicle floor for protected cone placement and even bass distribution. Built for Audiomobile, Arc Audio, and Wavtech thinPRO 12 drivers in single and dual configurations.
Vehicle Specific Series: Direct-fit enclosures designed to install in specific vehicles without cutting, drilling, or modification. Currently fits Ford F-150 (2015-2023, 2024-2025), F-250 Super Duty (2017-2023, 2024-2025), Ford Bronco, Ford Maverick, Toyota Tacoma (2015-2023), and Jeep JK (2007-2017 4-door). Includes Passive Radiator (PR) Edition for the F-150 with extended low-frequency reach in the same physical footprint.
Loaded Series: Complete pre-installed systems with the driver mounted in a spec-matched enclosure and pre-wired to the terminal cup. Skip the matching, skip the wiring. Each Loaded SKU is built on one of the underlying enclosure series (Performance Optimized, Micro, Professional, or Vehicle Specific), so the construction method matches the driver's requirements.
The decision tree for picking an enclosure works in three steps:
Step 1: Match the size class to the install location. Available cabinet space dictates the maximum driver size. 6.5 and 8 inch fit compact installs (motorcycles, behind-seat, small sedans). 10 inch is the practical sweet spot for sedans, hatchbacks, and most truck builds. 12 inch is the most popular size for serious bass builds. 15 inch is for buyers who specifically want maximum cone area and deepest extension, with the cabinet space and amplifier power to support it.
Step 2: Choose the alignment that matches your priorities. Sealed produces tight, accurate bass with smaller cabinet footprint, the right pick for SQ-focused builds and tight install spaces. Ported produces 3 dB more output on average, deeper extension, and higher efficiency from amplifier power, the right pick for output-priority builds and bass-heavy musical content.
Step 3: Decide between universal-fit and driver-matched. If you're running a mainstream driver and want flexibility, the Performance Series universal-fit option is the practical choice. If you have a specific driver model that we build matched enclosures for (Arc Audio, JL Audio W7 or W-series, Image Dynamics IDMAX, Kicker Solo X, Wavtech thinPRO, Alpine RSW, Audiomobile Encore), the matched enclosure (Performance Optimized, Professional, or Micro Series) extracts more output and accuracy than a universal box would.
Every Proline X enclosure is built from Langboard Elite MDF (48.5 lb/ft³ density, 200 psi internal bond strength), the highest-grade MDF available for enclosure construction. Particle board and thin-wall MDF are not used regardless of cost pressure. Internal bracing is placed at calculated intervals to prevent panel resonance. All joints are glued and fastened. Every enclosure is CNC-cut on ShopSabre routers to tolerances of 0.005 inches. There is no variation between units of the same model, which means tuning is consistent and performance is predictable.
This is what separates manufactured from built. Hand-built enclosures, regardless of the skill of the builder, introduce dimensional variation that shifts acoustic performance away from the design target. CNC manufacturing eliminates that variation entirely.
Universal-fit enclosures are built to internal volume and port dimensions calculated for the typical driver in the size class. They work with any mainstream driver in that size and Qts range. Driver-matched enclosures are calculated to a specific driver's published Thiele-Small parameters, which produces optimal output and accuracy with that particular driver. The matched enclosure costs slightly more and is less flexible (only works with the labeled driver) but produces measurably better performance with that driver than a universal box would.
Each Proline X enclosure is built to spec for a specific driver size class, alignment, and configuration. Many SKUs are driver-matched to specific brands and models. For one-off custom enclosures (specific vehicle fitments, specific driver combinations not in the catalog), contact our tech team. Custom builds are one of the paths we offer for buyers willing to support the development cost.

Every Proline X enclosure carries a 1-year warranty on materials and construction defects. Workmanship and structural integrity are covered. Damage from improper installation, over-excursion, or environmental exposure (water damage, extreme moisture) is not covered.
For F-150, F-250, Bronco, Maverick, Tacoma, and Jeep JK, we have direct-fit Vehicle Specific enclosures already built. For other vehicles, contact our tech team with your make, model, year, and target driver. Custom vehicle-specific enclosure development is one of the build paths we offer.
