Selecting the right NB5 comes down to available air space and how low you want to go. The NB5 8" is a small-box specialist β compact footprint, 800W RMS, and a motor optimized for tight ported enclosures where larger drivers simply won't fit. Step up to the NB5 10" and you gain meaningful cone area and a 1000W RMS rating, making it the sweet spot for hatchback, sedan, and mid-size truck builds where space is available but not unlimited. The NB5 12" is where the series hits its stride for serious SQL and daily SPL use β 1200W RMS, 27mm of linear Xmax, and a motor structure that demands a properly built enclosure to unlock everything it's capable of.
