Built Different. Built Better.
Every Proline X enclosure is manufactured in our Tullahoma, Tennessee facility using materials and construction methods that most enclosure brands don't touch.
Langboard Elite MDF
48.5 lb/ft³ density and 200 psi internal bond strength, the highest-grade MDF available for enclosure construction.
1-Year Warranty
Full coverage on materials and construction defects. We stand behind every enclosure we build.
Driver-Matched Tuning
Internal volume, port tuning, and cabinet dimensions are spec'd to each driver diameter, not a universal fit applied across sizes.

Proline X Performance Optimized enclosures tuned specifically for Sony subwoofers
Tuned for Sony subwoofers
These enclosures are not universal boxes sized to fit Sony drivers — they are tuned to Sony subwoofer parameters. Internal volume, port dimensions, and cabinet geometry are matched to the Thiele-Small characteristics of Sony woofers at each specific diameter. This produces an enclosure that extracts more output from a Sony driver than a general-purpose box of the same construction. Available in 10-inch, and 12-inch sizes across single and dual configurations in both sealed and ported types.
Sealed and ported options
Both sealed and ported enclosures are available in this series. The sealed option delivers controlled transient response and a gradual low-frequency rolloff that integrates predictably with most amplifier subwoofer channels. The ported option uses a port tuned to the specific Sony driver size it is built for, extending low-frequency efficiency and increasing SPL output at the tuning frequency. Port dimensions are not generic — they are calculated for Sony woofer parameters at each diameter.
Dado and V-Groove construction
Cabinet panels are joined using Dado and V-Groove cuts, which create interlocking channels at each panel intersection before bonding. This mechanical lock adds shear resistance beyond what adhesive alone provides and maintains panel alignment during assembly and curing. Sony subwoofers are designed for consistent output across a range of install conditions — the Dado and V-Groove joint maintains cabinet integrity and internal volume accuracy under the repeated pressure cycles generated by sustained driver excursion.
Driver fitment and mounting
The single mounting face is sized to each Sony driver diameter — 10-inch, 12-inch, and 15-inch — in single and dual configurations. Woofer mounting uses standard screws, which are not supplied. The woofer sits flush against the baffle without a recessed cutout. Confirm screw length against your specific Sony driver's basket depth before install — screws that are too long risk contacting the voice coil assembly and causing permanent damage to the driver.
Finish options
Each enclosure is available in grey trunkliner or plush black carpet. Grey trunkliner is a durable textured coating that resists moisture and abrasion, making it a practical choice for trunk installs where the enclosure may see regular handling. Plush black carpet gives a clean finished appearance that blends with factory interior materials in most vehicles. Both finishes are applied before the enclosure leaves the facility and require no additional treatment before install. Neither finish affects internal volume or port tuning.
Build specification and series position
These enclosures ship without polyfill, prewiring, or rubber feet. Polyfill is excluded to preserve the accuracy of the Sony-specific port tuning and internal volume — adding fill material to a driver-matched ported enclosure alters the alignment it was built around. This series sits above the standard Performance tier and is the correct choice when the goal is to run a Sony subwoofer in an enclosure built specifically for its parameters, not adapted from a universal design.
