Proline X Micro Series subwoofer boxes built for Alpine fitment
What the Micro series is
The Proline X Micro Series is the compact tier of the Proline X lineup. These enclosures are built with a reduced external footprint, making them a practical option for vehicles where interior space is limited. The Micro designation indicates a smaller cabinet profile, not a reduction in construction quality. Internal volume and port tuning are maintained to support proper subwoofer operation.
Stack Fab cabinet construction
Each cabinet is built using the Stack Fab method — multiple layers of MDF bonded together under pressure. This process produces a cabinet wall that is denser and more uniform than standard single-sheet MDF construction. The result is a cabinet that resists flex and panel resonance under high excursion loads. Stack Fab construction also allows for tighter dimensional tolerances across the enclosure.
Double mounting face and recessed woofer
The double mounting face supports both single and dual woofer configurations in the same cabinet design. The woofer cutout is recessed, allowing the driver basket to sit flush with or below the mounting surface. This is relevant for installations where speaker grilles or tight clearances require a low-profile driver position. Standard screws are used for woofer mounting and are not included.
Advanced Terminal Cup
The terminal cup is built in-house and uses an ABS and carbon fiber body with stainless steel hardware. It is pre-wired from the terminal cup to the driver position, reducing installation time and the risk of wiring errors. The terminal cup design provides a secure connection point that holds up to repeated use and vibration. All wiring runs are completed before the enclosure ships.
Included accessories
Each enclosure ships with rubber feet, prewiring from the terminal cup, and polyfill already installed inside the cabinet. Rubber feet isolate the cabinet from the vehicle floor and reduce the transfer of vibration. Polyfill affects the acoustic behavior of the enclosure, helping the driver perform as though it is in a slightly larger space. These are included as part of the standard build.
Alpine driver fitment
These enclosures are built to accept Alpine 10-inch and 12-inch subwoofers. The mounting dimensions and internal volume are matched to Alpine driver specifications. Builders using Alpine subwoofers can install directly without modification to the mounting face. This collection does not support other driver brands or sizes outside of the stated Alpine fitment.
