is the 8 inch from Dayton's Reference HF (high-fidelity) line: 29.6 Hz, Qts 0.57, 23.7 litres of Vas and 9 mm of excursion. In the wedge it gets 0.85 cubic feet net, vented at 37.5 Hz through an 11.7 square inch triangular port, for an anechoic F3 of 32.6 Hz. The cabinet is 27 inches wide and 11.75 tall, 8.50 inches deep at the top and 12.78 at the base, and rakes back against the rear seat like every Proline X wedge.

Sealed, the RSS210HF is listed in our sealed wedge at 1.55 cubic feet, Qtc 0.71, half power 37 Hz. Vented, the same driver reaches 32.6 Hz. The port runs 19.1 m/s in the channel and 10.7 at the mouth at the 280 W design power, and the cone peaks at 7.9 of its 9 mm. Passband ripple is 3.9 dB and the in-car spread from 25 to 60 Hz 4.4 dB.

Trunk-load wedge, explained

The 20 degree face is the seat side

A factory rear seat back
leans about 20 degrees off vertical.
