is NVX's 15 inch at 29.3 Hz, Qts 0.58, 104.7 litres of Vas and 23 mm of one-way Xmax on 804 square centimetres of cone. In the wedge it gets 2.34 cubic feet net, vented at 32.5 Hz through a 30.1 square inch triangular port, for an anechoic F3 of 35.9 Hz. The cabinet is 30 inches wide and 18.5 tall, 10.75 inches deep at the top and 17.48 at the base, and rakes back against the rear seat like every Proline X wedge.

Sealed, the VCW15v3 needs 7.61 cubic feet net to reach a Qtc of 0.707. Vented, it trades that for deeper extension. The wedge's port runs 21.1 m/s in the channel and 14.5 at the flared mouth at NVX's 1500 W rating, with the cone peaking at 10.2 of its 23 mm. Passband ripple is 2.2 dB.

Trunk-load wedge, explained

The 20 degree face is the seat side

A factory rear seat back
leans about 20 degrees off vertical.
