JL's entry twelve, 300 watts on a 28.4 Hz motor with 71.6 litres of Vas, and that Vas is why it gets the biggest JL cabinet in this line: 1.76 cubic feet net, vented at 30 Hz through a 16.9 square inch port, 30 inches wide, 15.5 tall, 9.62 inches at the top and 15.27 at the base.

A 0.67 Qts on that much compliance wants volume, and given it the driver graphs flatter in a car than anything else in this brand's range: 0.77 dB of spread across 25 to 60 Hz at 30 Hz tuning, on 3.00 dB of anechoic ripple with an F3 of 33.1 Hz. The F3 reads high next to the tuning because a 0.67 Qts rolls off gently; the response below it stays usable. The port needs only 21.92 of the 25.55 inches available and runs at 15.1 metres per second in the channel, 9.2 at the mouth.

Trunk-load wedge, explained

The 20 degree face is the seat side

A factory rear seat back
leans about 20 degrees off vertical.
