HZ 10 is a 33.1 Hz motor with a 0.466 Qts and 22.86 litres of Vas, and the wedge gives it 1.25 cubic feet net vented at 35 Hz through an 18.4 square inch port. The cabinet stands 13.5 inches tall and 30 inches wide, running 9.50 inches deep at the top and 14.41 at the base. Sundown publishes no sealed recommendation for this driver, so the vented curve is judged on its own numbers: a 30.3 Hz anechoic F3 on 2.26 dB of ripple.

A 0.466 Qts on 22.86 litres of Vas is a motor built for a vented box, and 35 Hz keeps the ripple to 2.26 dB, inside the 4.5 dB cap. Sundown does not publish a sealed alignment for the Horizon HZ 10 to weigh this against. At the driver's rated 500 watts the channel runs at 21.5 metres per second and the mouth at 13.4, under the 17 where a slot port starts to chuff. The base depth of 14.41 inches is set by the port panel clearing the motor at 9.43 inches, not by the 7.54 inch magnet top, and it stays under the 18 inch base depth cap even though it runs deeper than the cabinet is tall.

Trunk-load wedge, explained

The 20 degree face is the seat side

A factory rear seat back
leans about 20 degrees off vertical.
