Skar's 10 inch at 38.0 Hz, Qts 0.70, 16.5 litres of Vas and 9.1 mm of one-way Xmax on 363 square centimetres of cone. In the wedge it gets 1.07 cubic feet net, vented at 36.5 Hz through a 16.9 square inch triangular port, for an anechoic F3 of 30.9 Hz. The cabinet is 30 inches wide and 13.5 tall, 8.12 inches deep at the top and 13.04 at the base, and rakes back against the rear seat like every Proline X wedge.

Sealed, the VS-10 needs 28.95 cubic feet net to reach a Qtc of 0.707. Vented, it trades that for deeper extension. The wedge's port runs 21.8 m/s in the channel and 13.3 at the flared mouth at Skar's 500 W rating, with the cone peaking at 8.2 of its 9.1 mm. Passband ripple is 3.0 dB. Skar's own ported recommendation is 1.60 cubic feet at 33 Hz, before driver and port displacement.

Trunk-load wedge, explained

The 20 degree face is the seat side

A factory rear seat back
leans about 20 degrees off vertical. The mouth is that same triangle cut through
the side panel with its three edges rounded over at 1/2 inch, so the opening at the face is
27.7 square inches and air leaves it at 13.3 metres per second, against the 17.0 metre per
second threshold where a slot port starts to chuff. Some of it is softer than it looks. Skar gives no driver displacement anywhere, so 0.046 cubic feet is our estimate from comparable 10 inch woofers; it moves the tuning by a fraction of a hertz. Skar does not say how the Xmax was measured, so we size port and power against it rather than past it. Also: the printed Qts of 0.70 sits 6 percent from the 0.66 its own Qes and Qms reproduce.
