The standout number is the \u003cstrong\u003e130mm, or 5.1 inch, voice coil\u003c\/strong\u003e. That is the same diameter Morel uses in the PowerSlim series and it is large for a 10 inch driver. On the double baffle the outer 3\/4 inch layer is machined as a flush recess and the driver bolts to the inner layer, so the mounting plane sits 3\/4 inch down from the outer face and only \u003cstrong\u003e4.51 inches of driver protrudes into the airspace\u003c\/strong\u003e. A 3\/8 inch relief milled into the opposite panel behind the magnet recovers a little more. Add half an inch of clearance behind the magnet vent and the minimum internal height lands at 4.625 inches, which works out to 0.89 net.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThat extra airspace goes the right direction acoustically.
